Painting Competition for the Children

The district council is organizing a painting competition for the children in the age group of 8-16 years. Primary participants are schools which will bring their students as school representatives to participate in the competition. All participants should be accompanied by their class teachers. Competition will be divided into two groups. Junior group for students of age 8-12 and senior group for students 13-16. Apart from student representatives, Children who wish to participate in the competition need to submit their open entry form 15 days prior to the competition. Once registered, you will get the instructions and rules chart on your email. Do not forget to mention the phone number, address and email address of your guardian on the registration form.

The competition takes place at 3 pm on Sunday. Students and open entry participants are required to reach the venue 1 hour prior. Refreshments will be provided to students and teachers and 1 guardian of open entrants. Both the groups will be given different themes and the task is to be completed in 2 hours. Participants should bring your own colour palette. Water colours and poster colours are allowed but sketching and use of pencil is prohibited. Canvas will be provided at the venue and it doesn't cost extra. The entry for the participants is free but they need to take care of their travel expenses. Teachers and guardians are not allowed in the hall. They can wait in the seating area where they can have snacks from the canteen. Results will be announced after a week through the newspaper and the winners will be informed personally on the contact number mentioned in their registration forms.
