Our hosts are real people, sharing their homes, offering guests a unique window into life in a new place and earning much needed extra income. Sound appealing? How does it work? Search & Request: Guests search and choose the home stay they like. Include a friendly photo of yourself, don't forget to smile! You can add as many photos as you like, but make sure to upload at least one photo of the exterior of your home and one of each of your guest bedrooms.

Messaging & Video Call: Guests contact you about availability before booking. Our home stays are booked by tourists, university students, gap-year travelers, interns, volunteers, language students and tourists who want to experience the local community and culture of the place they are visiting You decide who stays with you and when, as guests must request to stay with you first. Booking & Fee: Once you accept a request the guest can then book. They pay a booking fee to Homestay.com to secure the booking. Then they pay you on arrival. Or, you can agree with the gues directly to pay the balance in advance of arrival by bank transfer or PayPal. The price you set for your room(s) is per room per night. We have demand for long-term bookings so you should set up weekly and monthly prices also. Remember a light breakfast should be included in the price.

SMS & Email: You should respond within 36 hours or the request will be closed automatically However, it's in your best interest to reply to the message sooner if possible. The sooner you reply the greater the chance you'll get a booking. You receive a booking confirmation via email and SMS

Payment on arrival: The guest pays you on arrival or in advance by arrangement. If you wish to take payment before arrival you must add this to your profile so that the guest is aware before they make a booking. Guests are aware of their requirement to settle the balance owing to their host upon arrival as detailed in the booking confirmation.
