Answer 1

Where it would be

My idea of a perfect holiday destination would be Switzerland, a beautiful country in central Europe known for its stunning natural landscapes and peaceful environment.

What type of place it would be

It would be a mountainous place, surrounded by snow-covered peaks, crystal-clear lakes, and green meadows filled with colorful flowers. I imagine staying in a wooden cottage by a lake, with large windows offering breathtaking views of the Alps. The air would be fresh and pure, and the whole area would feel calm and relaxing.

How it will look like

The place would look like a scene from a postcard — neat little villages with red-roofed houses, pine trees on the slopes, and cable cars moving up to the mountain tops. In the evenings, the lights from the cottages would reflect beautifully on the lake’s surface.

Explain why you think it would be a perfect holiday destination.

I think it would be a perfect holiday destination because it offers a balance between adventure and relaxation. People can go skiing, hiking, or simply sit by the lake, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The calm atmosphere, friendly locals, and natural beauty make it an ideal escape from busy city life.

Answer 2

Where it would be

The perfect holiday destination would be in north-central France along the Seine River, where Paris is actually located. The city is well-connected by international flights and high-speed trains, so it would be easy to reach from many parts of the world.

What type of place it would be

Paris would be a vibrant, cultural city destination with a mix of history, art, fashion, and food. It would be the kind of place where a traveler can visit world-famous landmarks, explore museums, and still enjoy simple pleasures like sitting in a café and watching people pass by.

How it will look like

In this ideal holiday, Paris would look full of iconic monuments, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Louvre Museum, standing along wide boulevards and charming streets. Elegant old buildings, bridges over the Seine, and green parks like the Tuileries Garden would give the city a classic and picture-perfect appearance.

Explain why you think it would be a perfect holiday destination.

Paris would be a perfect holiday destination because it offers something for every mood: art galleries, historic churches, river cruises, shopping streets, and peaceful gardens. On top of that, delicious French food, cozy cafés, and the romantic night view of the Eiffel Tower make the whole experience unforgettable and very different from daily life.

Answer 3

Where it would be

My idea of a perfect holiday destination would be Tokyo, Japan—a city that feels like a blend of tradition and the future, all wrapped up in one exciting place.

What type of place it would be

Tokyo is located in east-central Japan, right along Tokyo Bay. It’s easy to reach by plane or train, and once you’re there, the city’s super-efficient public transport makes it simple to explore every corner.

How it will look like

It’s a vibrant, modern city, but also full of history and culture. You can wander through ancient temples like Senso-ji, stroll in peaceful parks like Yoyogi or Shinjuku Gyoen, and then jump into the bustling energy of districts like Shibuya and Shinjuku.

Tokyo looks like a mix of old and new—graceful gardens and shrines stand side by side with towering skyscrapers and neon-lit streets. The cherry blossoms in spring and the colorful leaves in autumn make the city look like a painting, while the night views from places like the Tokyo Tower or Skytree are unforgettable.

Explain why you think it would be a perfect holiday destination.

I think Tokyo would be perfect for a holiday because there’s something for everyone. You can try delicious street food, shop for unique souvenirs, visit quirky cafes, or just relax in a quiet garden. The city is safe, clean, and welcoming, and its mix of tradition and modern life makes every day feel like an adventure.
