Cultural and Leisure Activities amongst boys’ and girls’ is an IELTS Writing Task 1. IELTS Writing Task 1 is designed to assess a candidate's ability to interpret and summarize visual data such as graphs, tables, and pie charts. Band 8 IELTS Answer

The pie chart shown in the above image compares the Cultural and Leisure activities which are liked by both boys and girls. For Boys, Computer Games are the most renowned activity, responsible for 34% of their activities which is followed by Basketball activity at 26%.

Football is also an essential activity among the boys, which is responsible for 17%, whereas Skateboarding activity (11%) and Listening to Music (10%) are quite popular. Reading is the least popular or preferred activity among the boys, responsible for only 2%.

In contrast, Girls prefer Dancing the most, which is responsible for 27% of their activities. Reading is the second most preferred activity with 21%, while Computer Games and Netball are at 16% and 15% respectively. Listening to Music is also equally important among boys and girls, each allocating 10% of their time to this activity. Gymnastics, with 11%, is one of the least preferred activities among the girls.

Overall, Boys mainly prefer Sports and Computer-related activities, whereas Girls are highly attracted to creative activities like Dancing and Reading. People of both sexes (boys and girls) show a significant preference for Listening to Music.

For Boys, the most renowned or popular activity is playing Computer Games, which accounts for 34% of their time. This is followed by Basketball activity, which is responsible for 26% while Football and Skateboarding activity accounts for 17% and 11% respectively. Reading is the least preferred activity, which accounts for only 2% of the total activity.

In contrast with that, Dancing is the most popular activity among the girls, representing 27% of their preferences. Reading is the second-most common activity among the girls at 21%, followed by Computer Games (16%) and Netball (15%). Gymnastics is considered one of the least popular activities for girls at 11%, while Listening to Music is comparatively less popular, accounting for only 10%.

In brief, we can say that Boys are more inclined towards Gaming and Sports Activities, while Girls are more inclined towards intellectual and creative activities like Reading and Dancing. Both groups also have similar interests in Listening to Music.
