The bar chart shown in the above image clearly illustrates the data on the overall percentage of school children learning to play several musical instruments - Piano, Guitar, Drums, and Violin - in the years 2005, 2010, and 2015.
In 2005, Piano was the most favorite musical instrument among the school children, with about 11% of the students learning to play it. The Guitar was in the second spot, with about 10% of the students learning to play this musical instrument, while the Violin and Drums were much less popular among the students, at about 9% and 5% respectively.
By 2010, there was a significant change on the bar graph which you can observe on the bar graph. Piano experienced substantial growth, becoming the most favorite musical instrument among the students, with over 20% of students learning to play it. Guitar also experienced a significant increase at around 19% of students who wanted to learn this musical instrument by 2010, while Drums and Violin saw a slight decline in the number of students who wanted to learn this musical instrument.
This trend suddenly changed in 2015, with Guitar experiencing substantial growth and popularity among school students to around 40%. Along with that, Piano was also following the same trends with over 39% of students wanting to learn this musical instrument. But, for Drums and Violin, they saw a rapid decrease in popularity among school students in 2015.

In 2005, the most famous musical instrument was the Piano, with around 10% of the children learning it. Guitar was also quite popular at around 9%, while fewer children selected Violin or Drums, both at less than 10%. In 2010, the popularity of the Piano increased slightly to around 20%, whereas the Guitar also experienced a marginal increase. Violins and Drums were less preferred by the school students, which is around less than 10%.
By 2015, the overall percentage of children learning Guitar had increased substantially, making it the most favorite or popular instrument, with approx. 40% of the school students learning it. Apart from that, Piano saw a slight decline, with 39% of students wanting to learn it. In 2015, the percentage of students who wanted to learn Violin fell drastically, making it the least preferred musical instrument that students want to learn.

In 2005, the most favorite musical instrument loved by the school students was the Piano, with about 10% of the kids learning to play the instrument. Guitar and Violin also had relatively similar participation rates, with about less than 10% of children learning these instruments. The overall number of children who wanted to learn the Drums was the lowest, which was about 10%.
By 2010, there was a slight shift towards the trend. Piano again experienced a significant growth, increasing to around 20%, making it one of the most favorite musical instruments for the children in that year. Guitars also observed a slight rise, crossing around 19%, whereas the popularity of Violin fell to around 8%. Drums were the least popular musical instrument in that year, with an overall popularity of around 5%.
In 2015, Guitar was completely dominated with around 40% of the students learning to play them. Piano was also quite popular among the school students where 39% of the students also wanted to learn Piano along with Guitar. In that year, students were not interested in learning Violin and Drums and as a result, the overall percentage of students learning these instruments reached less than 10%.
