The bar graph shown in the above image clearly shows the overall percentage of Male and Female Academic Staff in seven facilities of a university in 2012. These facilities are - Arts, Business, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine and Science.
Overall, there is a clear gender difference in most of the facilities (as shown in the graph) with male faculty dominating in various fields like Business, Engineering, Law, and Science. Meanwhile, women faculty have also made their dominance in some fields like Arts and Education.
In Engineering, the number of male faculty is around 85%, making it the most male-dominated faculty in the university, whereas the number of female faculty is around 15%. In contrast with that, the Education field is highly dominated by female faculty, who represent around 78%, leaving only 22% for the male faculty. The Arts field also has a high percentage of female facilities, which is around 58%.
The overall distribution of faculty in the Medicine field is comparatively the same with men slightly outnumbering women (around 55% to 45%). In a nutshell, we can say that the male staff is dominant in various technical fields in the university whereas female staff is dominant in creative fields like education and arts showing a gender balance among the staff in the university.

As shown in the graph, technical fields like Engineering and Sciences were mainly dominated by male employees, whereas creative fields like Education and Arts had more women candidates in the university. The demographic distribution in the university differs considerably across different fields provided by the university.
In Engineering, male staff accounted for the absolute majority, representing about 85% of the total staff, whereas female staff consisted of around 15% of the total staff. A similar pattern was also observed in the Science field, where male staff consisted of around 62% of the total staff whereas female staff made up around 38% of the total staff.
Apart from that, creative fields like Education were dominated by female staff with female staff comprising around 78% of the total staff and male staff only around 22% of the total staff. There was a slight preponderance of male staff in Business staff, with male staff comprising around 60% of the total staff.
