The table shown in the above picture compares the overall proportion of monthly household income spent on four different food categories—food and Drink, Clothing, housing, and entertainment—in five different European countries: Germany, France, Spain, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

Overall, Housing is the largest household expenditure in most countries, followed by Food and Drink. In France and Germany, around 30% of income is spent on Housing, whereas Spain spends the least amount, around 18%. The United Kingdom pays the largest share of Housing (37%).

Most of the countries spend 25% to 36% of their income on Food and Drinks. Turkey spends the most amount at 36%, whereas Germany spends the least amount on Food and Drinks, which is around 22%. When it comes to Clothing, Germany and Turkey spend the highest amount, which is 15% and 12% respectively. Spending on the Entertainment section is quite similar across different countries, ranging from 10% to 19%, with Germany spending the most on this section (around 19%).

In a nutshell, household expenditure on Housing accounts for the largest share of income across all the following countries, followed by Food and Drink with considerable variation in expenditure on Entertainment and Clothing.

The table shown in the above picture illustrates the overall proportion of monthly household income of five different European countries which they spend on different categories which are - Food and Drink, Housing, Entertainment, and Clothing. These countries are - France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Turkey and Spain.

Generally, the largest share of income in most European countries as shown in the table above is spent on Housing. The United Kingdom (UK) spends the most amount on Housing which is around 37%, followed by Germany (33%) and France (31%). Spain spends the least amount on Housing which is around 18%.

Turkey spends the most amount of income on Food and Drink, which is roughly around 36%, whereas Spain and the United Kingdom spend 31% and 27% of the amount respectively for the Food and Drink category. Germany spends the least amount on Food and Drink which is around 22% of the total income.

Germany and Turkey have the largest proportions for Clothing, which is 15% and 12% respectively. Meanwhile, France spends the least amount on this category, which is around 7%. Germany (19%) and Spain (15%) have the highest allocation on Entertainment, whereas Turkey (10%) has the lowest share in this category.
