Data on the Demographics of Four Countries

Band 8 IELTS Answer

The given chart depicts three significant categories of national data from four separate countries.

China appears to have the highest population density overall, whereas the United Kingdom lags behind the others. Whilst the typical life duration is comparable in all countries except the United Kingdom, where it peaks, the GDP of the United States and the United Kingdom is substantially higher than that of the other nations.

With a startling 1.35 billion citizens, China has a notably larger population than any other nation; but, because of the extreme population density, the GDP is just $6,800. On top of that, with slightly over 300 million citizens, the United States of America ranks second in population, but its GDP is $53,000, which is significantly higher than that of the other countries—except for the United Kingdom, which is not far behind at just over $41,000, notwithstanding having the smallest population of the four at 64 million. In comparison, Russia, which has a population of about 144 million and an average GDP of little less than $15,000, is in the middle.

The third demographic is average life expectancy, which appears to be roughly comparable across the four nations; yet, the United Kingdom comes in first of all, with an average life expectancy of 81, while the United States has one of 69. The average expectancy in China and Russia is 75 and 72 years, respectively.

Band 7.5 IELTS Answer

The following table compares four nations based on their population, GDP per capita, and average life expectancy.

Although China has the largest population overall, its GDP per capita is the lowest, whereas the US has the greatest GDP per capita but the lowest life expectancy.

The data indicates that China has a population of over 1.3 billion people, whereas the US has a much smaller population of about 319 million. The UK has the smallest population, with only 65 million people, half that of Russia. With a GDP per capita of around $54,000, the US leads the world, while China has the lowest at around $6,800.

The UK's GDP per capita is about two times the amount of Russia, at about $41,800.

According to the data, Americans have the lowest life expectancy (69.2 years), while persons in the UK have the greatest average life expectancy (81.5 years). China's figure is 75.2 years, whereas Russia's is 72.3.

Band 7 IELTS Answer

The charts present the demographics of China, Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The given data includes population size, GDP per capita (in US dollars), and average life expectancy.

Overall, it is certain that among the four nations, China has the highest population. On the other hand, it has the lowest GDP position. Despite having the largest GDP, the United States has the lowest average lifespan.

China has the largest population, with 1.375 billion people. In comparison, every individual only makes $6,807, the lowest sum of any nation. With an average salary of $53,681 per citizen, about eight times greater than China's, the United States now has the most notable average earnings by far. However, at around 69 years old, the lifespan appears to be the lowest.

With over 6.5 million people, the UK has the smallest population of the four nations. Despite this, it ranks first in average life expectancy (81.5%), and second in GDP per capita (41,787). With 1.4 million people Russia has a fairly low GDP per person—just around $15,000.
