How to send your IELTS scores to Universities Electronically

To send your IELTS test scores via E-delivery, you can:

  • Contact your test center or select it via the booking portal.
  • You can share your results by the IELTS band score Results E-delivery Service with as many organizations as you like.
  • Please contact your chosen organization(s) to confirm how they prefer to receive IELTS scores (postal or e-delivery).
  • You should also ask your chosen organization to confirm their address (for postal delivery) or account name (for e-delivery).

What is TRF in IELTS?

The full form of TRF in IELTS is Test Report Form. The IELTS Test Report Form is the paper-based score report received within 13 days of taking the IELTS test. You can get only one copy of IELTS TRF for yourself, but you can request up to five additional TRFs meant to go to universities, scholarship bodies, etc.

  • You will receive your IELTS TRF report by courier.

Beyond these five, any Additional Test Report Forms (ATRFs) will involve an administrative charge of INR 250 per university. The TRFs are sent to universities either electronically or physically. The physical mode requires the candidates to pay an extra courier charge of INR 1500.

What is the Additional IELTS TRF?

It may happen that after taking the test, the candidates feel like applying to more than five universities or colleges that they have already selected.

If the duration exceeds a month, they need to pay an additional IELTS fee to the conducting body - additional TRF British Council or IDP to deliver their IELTS test report form to those institutions.

  • From 01 February 2020, IDP is no longer accepting physical/offline applications for ATRF.
  • Please submit your ATRF application online by visiting your candidate login section on IELTS official website.
