New Delhi: The registration for GATE COAP counselling 2024 has begun on March 19, 2024. IIT Kanpur has launched the registration for GATE counselling. 

If you want to apply for an MTech at IIT through your GATE score, you will have to register for GATE COAP Counselling. Registrations are open until June 30, 2024

You can register for GATE COAP 2024 with your GATE 2023 or 2022 scores as well. Register by entering your details at the official GATE COAP portal set up by IIT Kanpur. Register at iitk.ac.in/coap2024, or click on the direct link below. 

GATE COAP 2024 offers will be made in five rounds from May 13 to June 10, 2024. Depending on the process, there may also be five additional rounds for GATE COAP counselling after the initial five. The additional rounds will be from June 15 to July 11, 2024.

What is the GATE COAP?

The GATE Common Offer Acceptance Portal or COAP is a common platform for GATE-qualified candidates where IITs upload their M.Tech admission offers. COAP also displays job offers uploaded by participating PSUs based on their selection criteria. 

It is important to note that you have to register separately with the respective IITs/ PSUs for admission/ recruitment alongside GATE COAP registration.

How to Register for GATE COAP Counselling 2024?

Step 1: Visit the official website at iitk.ac.in/coap2024.

Step 2: Click on the “Register” button.

Step 3: Enter your details and the details of your GATE Paper(s) to register.

Step 4: Login to view your application details at all the available institutes and go through the offers carefully.

Step 5: Fill in your details for the offer that entices you most and submit the form. Your decision cannot be changed.
