There are so many TV programmes I used to watch but particularly I would like to talk about the CID programme which I like the most. CID is a crime, mystery, and thriller-related TV programme that shows different types of criminal cases or scenes to make the public understand the crimes and the consequences. I don’t get time to watch it every day since I am always busy with my office work but I usually watch it every weekend. The main purpose of broadcasting this TV program is to help the public make aware that committing a crime is a serious offense and can spoil the lives of others. Additionally, people can stay knowledgeable about the criminals and their tactics, and also they can prevent such criminal activities from happening in the future.

CID is one of the top crime series on Indian television which is telecasted on Sony Channel and many people love to watch this crime series because of the fictional characters in this programme. ACP Pradyuman, Dayal, and Abhijeet are the trio key characters of this series. Dayal and other team members are famous among the kids. All the individuals in the police official team play their role in a realistic way and they appear to be real police officers. The main reason why I have started to watch this TV program is that it leaves an impact on the minds of the public and it looks so real. This is the reason I considered this programme as my favorite TV show.

I do not watch TV that much but I know it’s a great electronic and mass media for education and entertainment purposes. Sometimes I watch TV, mostly in my leisure time and Discovery Channel is my favorite one among all the channels. Whenever I take the TV remote in my hand, I switch to either the news channel or the Discovery channel. This is the channel I often used to watch other than any other channels. I usually watch it on alternative days for 4-8 hours per week. During my holiday, if I sit in front of the TV, I watch the educational and recreational programs that this channel telecasts.

It telecasts mainly documentary programs focusing mainly on science, technology, and history. But recently they have started broadcasting other types of programs like reality shows and entertainment. There are some unique programs that they deliver to their audiences like MythBusters, Unsolved History, automobiles, and occupations, etc. Discovery channel started broadcasting since1985 and it has become one of the most famous TV channels in the world because of its importance on high-quality programs.

I like this TV channel because of the programs and documentaries they deliver to their audience. Most of the programmes are thoroughly enjoyable and offer informative things to the viewers. This is one of the great sources for me to learn science, history, technology, and other education-related knowledge. The picture quality in the programme is really good and this channel is easily available via various cable service providers. I found this channel really helpful and everyone can learn many new things by watching it with no age restriction.
