Band 7  IELTS Essay

The value of senior staff, which typically sparked a lot of discussion, has recently gained greater traction. Younger employees frequently possess greater abilities, expertise, and drive than older ones. According to some supporters, while others contend that senior staff are crucial to the growth of businesses. This essay will go into detail about the importance of both younger and older staff to businesses.

Freshmen are more skilled, knowledgeable, and motivated than experienced employees for a variety of reasons. But the most obvious one is that they don't hesitate to pursue their goals. Naturally, most students are confident in their knowledge when they enter dynamic workplaces after graduating from universities. But knowledge is only one of the factors that will help them succeed in their careers. Experience has a significant influence on decision-making in practical circumstances and helps identify the root cause of collaboration problems.

Now let's look at the counter arguments made by detractors. Some people think that senior employees make the most contributions to businesses. In particular, they need less training on the job, even though employers in some nations must give them a higher income than juniors. Additionally, they frequently exhibit professionalism and typically remain with firms longer than freshmen. Senior personnel are therefore required in organizations.

Younger workers take risks when they are confident about them. For instance, they seize the chance to learn new talents if they feel the need to develop. The danger of supervising laborers is taken by a young individual who began his career as a laborer. so that he can develop leadership skills. He will lead a successful life as a result of it. Additionally, it will serve as motivation for young people who desire to achieve in their careers. Older employees were terrified of failing, therefore they refrained from taking the risk. Consequently, they won't be able to learn new abilities.

In light of the foregoing, I am persuaded, from a personal standpoint, that good employees cannot be judged by their ages. But rather by their performance and experience.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

While it is true that newer or fresher employees can approach their responsibilities with a more focused as well as ambitious method of thinking. And with a bigger will to develop more significant and valuable skills. That approach does not always mean they provide more knowledge to the sequence of work. It can be argued that younger employees have more skills and knowledge to perform a better job than the older ones.

Younger workers, who are just beginning to establish a stable financial life for themselves, can also show a more aggressive attitude. A powerful approach to working longer hours, harder shifts, or approaching career challenges in a more positive way than older workers. In order to achieve a more lucrative salary and a status of corporate success among their peers. But greater textbook knowledge and more specialized abilities do not equate to more real-world knowledge.

Since the majority of it is gained by practical experience in the field, which can only be attained through years and years of practice. A company that bases the majority of its workforce on younger, more talented. But still inexperienced individuals run the risk of making costly mistakes.

However, older workers' efficiency is constrained by two variables, the first of which is their tendency to complete tasks the same way. They always have despite having more expertise and the possibility that there may be a more efficient way to complete the task that they are unaware of. The second is their personal lives. Older employees typically already know how their lives will be and what they will need for it. So it is more likely that they won't make as much of an effort to improve themselves or to devote more time. Or energy to their work than is necessary to carry out their functions.

In conclusion, young people are strongly motivated to learn and acquire job abilities and work knowledge despite their initial absence of these things. However, despite having superior talent and expertise, the elder generation lacks the younger group's level of drive.

Band 9 IELTS Essay

Some people are of the opinion that youthful workers in the same organization have higher levels of motivation, knowledge, and skill than senior workers. Although I will concede that they have greater technical proficiency. In my opinion, their level of education and motivation is roughly comparable to that of senior employers.

Younger employees have more technological know-how than more seasoned workers, which is their biggest benefit. Children today were raised in the era of technology. They are skilled users of all contemporary tools and technologies. Young people's expertise is needed by organizations, especially those operating at the forefront of technology. Thus they are prioritized when hiring new employees. New employees have high expectations for the future. They approach their job with the belief that anything is possible and that hard work can transform the world. They are aware that they are still in the early stages of their careers, yet they also work hard to get a job. To give you an example, I used to put in more than nine hours a day. When I first started working as a systems engineer after graduating from college and joining a company. The difference between a young and an experienced employee is their will to improve.

However, it is not accurate to state that younger people are more knowledgeable or motivated than older people. Expertise is not always limited to technical knowledge. While there is no doubt that younger people outperform older people in terms of technology. It is not possible to argue that they are more knowledgeable about other facets of work or life. The claim that they are more motivated by themselves also strikes me as being flimsy. Younger people take their careers less seriously than older people do. In reality, young adults are more interested in having a good time than contributing significantly to their organization.

Finally, it may be said that younger people have higher technical skills than older people. However, I disagree with the claim that they are more intelligent or motivated.
