It is asserted that many young people today choose to spend more time with their peers than with their parents. The age difference is the primary source of this trend. I don't believe parents should force their kids to spend more time at home because it can make them feel resentful.
Children's ideas and interests frequently alter when they enter puberty. As a result, kids frequently disagree with their parents. They can think their parents are outdated and don't have any interests in common with them. Because they may have a number of shared interests, they find it boring to spend time with them and prefer to hang out with their pals. In addition, some young people live in dorms with their friends while attending universities far from their parents. And occasionally they may grow accustomed to spending all of their time with their roommates. They therefore do not prioritise being at home as much.
If youngsters are made to stay at home more often, this habit may instil resentment in them against their parents. This is because of the fact that many young people dislike being governed and coerced by their elders into listening to edification. They could become rude if they are confined, so be careful. For instance, research indicates that children who are grounded by their parents are more prone to behave in an erratic or hostile manner. To encourage their kids to spend time at home, parents might participate in activities they know their kids will enjoy. They can be watching their favourite TV series together.
In conclusion, due to the age gap and unusual preferences or interests, many young adults opt to spend less time with their families. I think that kids shouldn't be forced to stay home more often since they might start acting out.

Young people are making a lot of acquaintances because they find social networking sites to be helpful in this process. This means that using social media sites, one may quickly create a profile and add someone as a friend with only a single click. These websites are causing young people to develop addictions, and they use them to hang out with their buddies most of the time. For instance, young individuals have a large number of friends on social networking sites like Facebook and Skype.
Parents shouldn't try to coerce their kids into staying at home instead of hanging out with friends. This is because youngsters may become fairly hostile as a result of such rigid and impulsive behaviour. They will interpret it as a punishment. Younger folks will become irate and dissatisfied with their parents because they do not let them enjoy themselves and spend time with friends. Such behaviour would be harmful to family attachment and could have severe consequences. For instance, a survey in the UK found that children prefer to live alone due to limitations placed on them by their parents.
