You Want To Learn A Language. There Is A Teacher Near Where You Live IELTS General Writing Task 1 follows a semi-formal approach. It contains three model answers that have three paragraphs namely the introduction, body, and conclusion. The letter must be clear and to the point.

IELTS General Writing Task 1 includes letter writing either in formal, informal, or semi-formal patterns. Candidates need to complete the task within 20 minutes. Students can consider their preparation for the writings section from the IELTS Writing Practice Papers and enhance their writing skills effectively. IELTS writing score is marked based on band scores. The band scores range from 0 to 9.

Topic: You want to learn a language. There is a teacher near to where you live. Write a letter to the teacher. In the letter:

Say how you came to know about him/her
Explain why you want to learn
Ask what help they can offer.

Dear Miss Samaira,

I am writing this letter to enquire about the possibility of enrolling in your Telugu classes.

I have seen your advertisement in the local newspaper. I got to know that you are a native speaker. I would love to learn from a native speaker because it would be easier for me to learn. Also, you might be able to teach me better than any other teacher. Also, I live in your neighborhood so it would be easier for me to come for the classes.

I want to learn Telugu because it is one of my favourite languages. I love learning different languages. Besides, I am having my summer breaks. So it will be a great utilisation of time. I am planning to acquire my higher studies from Andhra Pradesh. So it will turn out as an advantage for me to learn the language of the state.

I might be able to learn Telugu within 2-3 months as I already know a little. So, i am not a fresher but i am a beginner. I would like to request you to please provide me details of your availability. Also provide me with the tuition fees and the enrollment procedure. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

I live nearby your house, so it would be easier to come for classes.

I want to learn Punjabi because I am soon shifting to Punjabi for my higher studies. Learning about the native language of the place always turns out to be an advantage. Also, I love learning new languages. As my winter breaks are going on, it would be a great activity to learn. It will turn out to be the best utilisation of time. It will also add to one more language I can speak.

I might need at least 5-6 month coaching because I don't know anything about the language. It would be an opportunity to learn from you.
