Subject: Complaint about receiving damaged product and request for product’s replacement.

Dear Sir/Ma’am,

I am writing this letter to inform you about the inconvenience that I am facing from your side for the last week. I have ordered a mobile phone from your online shop on February 23, 2021, and the delivery was made on March 1, 2021.

Here are the details of the order:
Name of the buyer: Sapna Sinha
Bill no: 943759856
Product Details: Item name- Vesco F32, Quantity- 1
Price- INR 17,500

After opening the package I found that the product was damaged. The mobile phone’s screen is completely damaged and the charger is also missing. I have been trying to contact your customer care to request a replacement but the problem is still not resolved. I am a regular customer of your online shop and have never experienced this problem before. I am extremely disappointed with your services this time. As proof, I have attached the damaged product’s picture along with the receipt that I received during the product’s delivery. The product is kept in the exact state that it was received. You can confirm the same from the delivery man when he picks up the product from my given address. I request you to replace the damaged product or provide a refund. It would be appreciated if the problem is resolved within the next 2 weeks as I have already suffered a lot. If I don’t receive a response within a week then I would be bound to take the complaint to the consumer and legal forum. I am expecting that my complaint will be resolved at the earliest.

Yours Sincerely,
Sapna Sinha

Subject: Complaint against a recently purchased mobile phone that is damaged and requesting product replacement

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to inform you about the fact that I recently purchased a mobile phone from your online shop but after receiving it I noticed it is a sabotaged product. I have tried to contact customer service numerous times but all in vain.

I would like to state that I am a very regular customer of your brand. Not only mobiles but also I purchase other electronic gadgets of this same brand. But on my recent purchase of the Oppo M70(6GB - 128GB), I was surprised to notice that it was faulty. The moment I switched on the phone I noticed that the screen was unresponsive. Furthermore, when I tried to click on the camera to see the picture quality I was surprised to see a scratch on the outside lens. The moment I realized that I had received a bruised product, I dialed the customer service number. They kept me on hold for around half an hour, eventually getting frustrated I just kept it down. I am writing this letter to request a product replacement. This is a brand new product of the brand and I have been planning to purchase it for a long time now. It is only because of this utmost carelessness of your employees that I may not be proceeding with any purchase from the brand. I am hereby providing the details of the mobile phone for you to arrange for a product replacement as soon as possible.

Product: Oppo M70
Price: Rs. 24,999

Yours faithfully,
Richard

Band 7.5 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir or Madam,

Two weeks ago I bought a new phone from your shop. I was excited while purchasing but was very disappointed after using the phone for a week. The phone stopped working within a week. I have talked to one of the customer representatives twice but there has been no update regarding it. I purchased this mobile from Chandni Chowk on May 6. The model of the phone is the OnePlus six, it comes with 6 inches display and android 8.1 OS. It also has a 6GB Ram and octopod processor. The number is 321 1153. I am also attaching a copy of my receipt with this letter. My phone is switched off. Even after being fully charged it is not switching on. I’m sure this is a manufacturing defect. And as I am in the warranty policy I want a replacement. Despite my communication with the customer care representative, I am upset that my issue has not been taken seriously.

I am hoping you will agree to replace me with the new one immediately. Otherwise, I would expect a full refund for this phone within a week.

Yours sincerely
Simon
