You Live Near a Record Shop IELTS General Writing Task 1 is a letter-writing topic. It contains three model answers that have three paragraphs namely the introduction, body, and conclusion. The letter must be clear and to the point.

Band 8 IELTS Letter
Dear Madam or Sir,
I stay two houses away from your record shop. I am writing this letter to ask if you have a few of the unique records that I am looking for for a long time now. I am a big supporter of local business and your shop near my house has made it even more suitable.
I am looking forward to the records of Sound of Music the movie which released in 1965. I have been searching for the tracks for quite a long time now and would be happy to purchase from your shop. The other one is Mozart’s tracks, namely, Symphony, Requiem, and The Marriage of Flute. Since these are quite ancient, most of the shops don’t have them. If you can manage to get these few records then it will be extremely helpful.
If you manage to find them, also let me know the approximate cost of them. I will visit your shop to collect them whenever you can get them.

I am writing this letter to convey my interest in a few of the records that I couldn’t get hold of. I have been searching for the music albums of a few of the rare English movies. I myself hold a local business and, therefore, support the same.
I am seeking the music albums of The Wizard of Oz, Gone with the wind, and Casablanca. Since these are vintage English movies, most of the record shops don’t find the need to showcase them. With the increase in people opting for pop music, there is a dearth of rare music albums in the shops.
