You Have Noticed A Room At Your Company Office That Can Be Used As A Relaxation Room IELTS General Writing Task 1 is a letter-writing topic. Dear Sir/Madam,

I work at your company in the position of junior supervisor. I am writing this letter to suggest using the spare room that is used for the storage facility as a recreational room.

A recreational room enhances productivity, the employees can use it for relaxation. I am very keen to use this room as an additional laxation room. The already existing relaxation room is quite small. So this spare room used for storage is quite big. This can certainly be just more people than the already existing one. This recreational room can be used during the one-hour break at lunch. Some employees move out under the shade of the tree as the existing space is smaller. The summer has become worse these days hence this is the time to utilize the spare room.

Last week when I was coming back from a seminar with a PNC company, I was stuck at the ideal place for the staff they have during the big time. It was spacious and full of equipment and looked aesthetic. Hence our recreational room just needs a few more pieces of furniture and all the existing furniture can be shifted. So if you like my suggestion please let me know and I would be happy to go ahead. We would turn this into a useful room via a recreational room that would add value to our staff.

I am a senior executive in your XYZ institute. I have been working here for the last three years. I believe recreational facilities would help us increase our productivity.

I have seen a spare room beside the coffee area. We can convert the spare room into the relaxation and sports room of our office. I hope you consider my idea and take steps to make it happen. First and the foremost advantage, most employees who are glued to their desks working all day, can take a break. This will help them reduce their stress level. The second reason is this will increase the productivity of the employees. Harikrishna can improve team morale. More specifically, this room is on our floor, right next to the conference room. I have already spoken to the workforce management and he has confirmed that this room is available. To make the best use of it, we shall need to renovate the room. We can procure mini pieces of equipment like recliners and chairs, a Bookshelf, billboards, and more. We can decide on a budget to approve by the human resource for this opus.
