Band 7 IELTS Letter

Hello Sir/ Madam,

My name is Daniel and I work as a software engineer in an IT Company. I'm writing to you today to let you know about a recent terrible incident.

A week ago, I bought a brand-new Vivo Y15 from your site. The phone ceased operating after two days. The moment the phone stopped working, all of my enthusiasm about the new device abruptly ended. I made an effort to carry out the fundamental diagnostics, but they were ineffective. I can't turn on the phone just yet. I am really dissatisfied with the purchase. I had also contacted the customer service number, but I got no assistance. I was given hope that the problem will be fixed, but it hasn't happened yet. I've been attempting to recharge my phone for hours with no luck.

I would like you to investigate this. The ID number I used to call customer service is RM000906542. This ID should be used to save all of the phone's information and documentation. This should be useful, I hope. If a replacement is offered, I can go to the closest service center. Please contact me if there is anything further I can do on my end to fix the problem. For the previous five days, I have been without a phone. It is quite tough for me to get in touch with my family and coworkers.

I hope this matter will be taken seriously and immediate action will be taken. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you

Daniel

Band 7.5 IELTS Letter

Hello Sir,

My name is Akash Gupta and I work as a business analyst in an IT farm. I recently purchased a Samsung S27 from the Samsung Store located in Phoenix Mall. I am writing this letter to report an unusual problem. My phone has stopped working. I purchased this phone a week back and after 3 days, the phone was stuck on a blue screen.

I took the phone to the store and they informed me that I needed to call the customer support team for help. I had called up the customer service center and they transferred me to the technical team. I had a chat with the technical team and they again referred me to the store. This is causing a lot of confusion and no one is able to solve the problem. I am feeling humiliated and disappointed by the fact that I am unable to use the device. I have attached all the details of the phone here. The call center and the store have been referring to one another. I have also followed the troubleshooting steps and charged the phone. I did not notice any change. The phone is still stuck and I am unable to use it. This is hampering my work and also my personal life.

I would request you to look into this and help me as soon as possible. If you can arrange a call back, I will be able to give more details. Also, I will be able to visit the store if the repair or replacement is required.

Yours sincerely,
Smiti Sharma

Band 8 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir/Mam,

This letter is intended to inform you regarding a phone that I bought from your store. My name is Arjun Malhotra and I bought an iPhone 12 from your authorized Imagine Store on Canning Street. The date of the transaction is 25 March 2022. I have attached the transaction receipt with this letter. However, post three days from the purchase date, it got automatically switched off.

I attempted to turn it back on a number of times, however, it didn't respond. Then I considered talking to the authorized service center in order to repair whatever the issue I was facing with it. They wanted me to submit the mobile phone at their service center and it took 2 days to diagnose it but they were unable to identify the issue. Moreover, I considered calling up the customer care, however the response that they gave was unsatisfactory to me. According to the terms and conditions mentioned in your bill, I can avail a replacement for the same or a complete refund. Thus, I would like to mention that please help me with a replacement of the mobile phone by sending me a new piece. Since I won’t be able to afford to invest in a new phone as this has cost me a huge amount.

I would like to request that kindly consider my situation and resolve it at the earliest possible. Looking forward to a positive response.

Yours Faithfully,
Arjun Malhotra
