Write a Letter to Your Friend about a Job Opportunity IELTS General Writing Task 1 is a letter-writing topic. Candidates are required to address their friend ina a semi-formal tone. It contains three model answers that have three paragraphs namely the introduction, body, and conclusion. The letter must be clear and to the point.

IELTS General Writing Task 1 includes letter writing either in formal, informal, or semi-formal patterns. Candidates need to complete the task within 20 minutes. Students can consider their preparation for the writings section from the IELTS Writing Practice Papers and enhance their writing skills effectively. IELTS writing score is marked based on band scores. The band scores range from 0 to 9.

Topic: Write a letter to your friend about a job opportunity you came across that they might find interesting.

In your letter, you should:

• give some details about the job
• mention how you came across the job opportunity
• explain why you feel the job would be suitable for your friend

Dear Aditi,

I hope you're doing well. It’s been a long time since we met. I'm writing to convey one job opening to you that I think you might be interested in applying for.
There is a vacancy for the position of HR in Big Burger, where I work. It's a full-time job and the company is looking for candidates with a minimum of 3-4 years of working experience in the same field.
Yesterday my manager told me about the vacancy and if I could refer anyone. Your name came in. my mind. Also that I know that you meet all the requirements that the company is looking for. I feel you would be a strong candidate for this position.
Additionally, it is a great opportunity for you to switch jobs. Moreover, the job location would be the same as your current location so the job change won’t hamper your routine life. So I think you should consider this job keeping all the possible aspects in mind. Let me know if you find it suitable for you and I'll refer you for this position.
