Write a Letter To The Shop Manager Complaining Regarding a Problem in an Article IELTS General Writing Task 1 is a letter writing topic. Topic: You purchased an article of clothing from a shop. When you got home, you realized it had a problem. Write a letter to the shop manager to complain.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a regular customer of your store in Ellie street. I love to buy clothes from your shop because they are affordable and trendy. Also, the wide range of variety offered is amazing. But unfortunately, I am writing this letter to complain about a problem I faced a few days back.

Ok Monday, June 17,2022 I bought a green dress from your store. I was very pleased by the purchase as I got it at a 20% discount. But my happiness was short-lived.

When I returned home I found out that it was damaged. There were many pearls missing. Though I tried the dress in the store, it was perfectly fine. I assume it was changed at the time of check-out. I re-visited the store the next day. I asked the salesman to exchange the dress as it was defective. I was very disappointed by the reply I got. The salesman said that it was against the policy of the store. No item once purchased is exchangeable or refundable.

My purchase code is ER-89045. I paid $250 for the dress. When I explained to the salesman that this was not the dress I tried, he refused the allegations and rudely asked me to leave. I would like to request you to immediately look into the matter. Also, take strict action against the rude behavior with the regular customers.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am one of the subscribed members of your store. I have a permanent customer card for your store in the Trends market. I love purchasing clothes from your store. However, I am writing this letter to complain about a recent incident that happened with me regarding a purchase. I bought a Satin dress from your store. It also had a scarf matching it.

I am a regular customer of your Men’s store. I usually buy all my clothes from your store. I feel that the prices are affordable and reasonable. However, I am disappointed by my recent purchase. On Wednesday June 25,2022 I bought a shirt along with Jeans.

I was delighted by the purchase as I bought it at a 30% discount.

When I returned home, I found out that the shirt was not of the same size. Also, there were buttons missing from the shirt. I didn't remove the price tags and went back to the store. I talked with the Men’s collection salesman and explained to him about the situation. I claimed that the shirt was mistakenly exchanged to a larger size. As I selected L size but it was XL. Also, I complained about the missing buttons. I asked for an exchange of the product. He said it was against the Store’s policy.

I am very disappointed by the store’s Services and behavior with customers. I would like to request you to look into the matter. This matter requires your immediate attention. The code of purchase is DFRE-098. I am attaching a receipt with this. Looking forward to hearing from you.
