Band 8 IELTS Letter

Respected Sir,

I am writing to let you know that my identity card has been lost.

Last week, when the event was held in the auditorium, I forgot my identification card. I returned to the auditorium right away after realizing I had left my identification card there and searched thoroughly, but I was unable to find it. I reasoned that someone must have seen it and may have added it to the missing section. Even though I searched our college's lost and found department, I was unable to locate the card.

I have a lot of difficulties entering the college and using the library, among other things, because our college requires everyone to wear an ID sticker.

I'm in pain since my ID label fell off. I would like to apply for a new card, thus. Please give me a rundown of the application process.

I appreciate your thoughtfulness and time.
With Regards,

Band 8.5 IELTS Letter

Respected Sir,

I'm Kiran, and I attend your college to take the General Business course.I am writing to ask that you provide me a new identification card because I misplaced my old one.

I realized abruptly yesterday while eating lunch with my buddies in the lunchroom that I had misplaced my badge.Since it's a significant badge, I usually like to keep it in my college bag, but on that particular day, I was in a rush and just slipped it in my pocket.

I can't go into the sports center or the library because of this incident.Furthermore, before the security guard lets me into the campus, I always have to show him that I am a student at the entrance gate.I find it really stressful right now, and I can't concentrate on my schoolwork till I have my card.If you could set up a new ID card for me, I would really appreciate it.

I'm hoping for a favorable reaction from you.

Thank you,
Kiran

Band 9 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir,

I'm Shikha, a student of the 2008 Batch of the Electronics and Communication Engineering program. I'm writing to ask that you please provide me a new ID card as soon as feasible.

I misplaced my card last week, and I've already looked practically everywhere for it—the canteen, the hostel room, etc.—but I was regretfully unsuccessful in finding it. Because of this, I am encountering a lot more issues, such the requirement for an ID card to enter the library and to issue any college materials that require one. Additionally, that ID card provided us with free bus ride, but it is no longer in existence.

Thus, I kindly ask that you provide me with a new ID card this week. I'm prepared to pay the fine as well. Additionally, since you'll be printing it again, I would like you to replace my old photo with the new one as I don't really like it.

Eagerly awaiting your affirmative response.

Regards, Sincerely
Shikha
