Respected Sir/Madam,

I am Shaira. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in English literature. I have seen your advertisement for the need of a Library Assistant in one of the local newspapers. I have 3-4 years experience as a Library Assistant. My day-to-day tasks were to manage the book issue register and to keep records for the books. Settle the books according to genres and different subjects. I also worked as Library in-charge in my higher secondary school. The responsibilities were to manage books and resettle them. Separate the books based on genres. Also, to maintain record for the books issued to different students.

I have relevant knowledge, experience and skills regarding library management. I would love to get considered for the job. As Summer breaks are going on and it would be the best utilisation of time. Also, I am looking for a part-time job to meet my own expenses. I want to be financially independent. I don't want to be a pile on my parents. Due to Covid-19 situation my parent's financial condition became weak. So I want to handle my fees and other supplies on my own.
