Model Answer 1

Dear Sir/Mam,

This letter is to report the loss of cabin baggage in one of your planes. I availed this flight last Tuesday and flew from NewYork to Paris. The date was 22nd May, 2022 and I booked tickets for business class. The flight number was NYSX347.

That bag was packed with a few of my very important documents. It had an appointment letter for my new job role that is on hold for the time being.

I can still clearly recall that as soon as I got on the plane, I put the luggage carefully under my window seat. However, I discovered that my suitcase was missing when I got to Paris. It's a green square-shaped bag with the logo of my business printed on it. It boasts elaborate, colorful decorations on the interior pockets and is constructed of shiny leather. The bag also has four tiny wheels at the bottom and six pockets. My credentials for college and employment are also in the bag, along with my phone and credit card. You may imagine how important these items are to me.

Please, if you get to know about the bag, do inform me. I’ll make arrangements and collect it from your office.

Kindly update me on the same.

Yours Sincerely,
David

Model Answer 2

Dear Sir/Mam,

I recently took a British Airways jet to get from Southampton to London. I had a good time traveling, as I frequently do with your airline, however I was sad to see that my luggage was missing. I'd like to know if there has been any development.

Regarding the specifics of the flight, I arrived at London Stansted Airport around 16:25 on June 24 after departing from Southampton Airport. My jet departed the terminal at 14:30. My flight was BA2597A, and I was a first-class passenger. When I got to the airport in London, I learned that my bag had been lost. I immediately phoned British Airways and the airport's lost and found department. They both guaranteed me that they would get in touch with me as soon as they located my suitcase. But since then, I have not heard anything!

The black suitcase that I misplaced was a Pierre Cardin creation. It is a medium-sized luggage that is popular among businessmen and executives. An iMac Pro, a notepad with my name on it, some vital documents, a few of my clothes, and a few gifts are all included in the suitcase's contents.

It disturbs me that a week after I complained at the airport, nothing has happened. If the suitcase is located, I would appreciate you sending it to my office address and updating me as soon as possible.

Yours Sincerely,
Brian

Dear Sir/Mam,

On May 21, I, Louis Litt, flew from Valencia Airport in Spain to Brisbane Airport in Australia. Unfortunately, my suitcase was gone and despite my hour-long search, it was nowhere to be found. I've written to the Luggage Claim Office and your airline with a complaint, but I haven't heard anything as of yet.

The leather-covered, brown suitcase features a leather handle on top and is constructed of leather. It also bears my name engraved on the reverse. My luggage claim number is 65874DS, and my flight number was BS-9854D.

The suitcase had a few essential papers, a laptop, an iPad, a personal diary, and some clothing. The files on the laptop and the printed documents are very significant to me.

Since filing the complaint, a week has already passed, but I have not heard back from your office. I really want to know what is happening with the suitcase because I am quite worried. Please let me know when I can anticipate hearing from you regarding my missing suitcase.

I want to hear from you as soon as possible.

Yours Faithfully,
Louis Litt
