Working Hours and Income for Four Jobs IELTS Writing Task 1 is an academic task. The IELTS academic writing task 1 deals with info-graphic questions. The graph compares the working hours and yearly salaries of four different professions: nurse, police, firefighter, and teacher. Nurses work more hours than other vocations, while police officers have the highest yearly income, as seen in the image.

Nurses work more than 55 hours per week, which is greater than other occupations when compared, as shown by the statistics. Teachers have the fewest working hours per week, at only 30 hours each week. Police officers and firefighters spend 35-40 hours a week on average. When it comes to pay, cops make more than other professionals. They earn more than 52 thousand pounds a year, compared to 33,600 pounds for teachers and 37,450 pounds for nurses.

Despite the fact that firefighters work somewhat longer hours than police officers, their yearly pay is roughly $3,000 less. Teachers have the lowest annual earnings, while nurses have a lower compensation despite working more hours per week than other occupations.

The data provided depicts the earnings and weekly hours of four distinct jobs, three of which are in the emergency services and the fourth of which is teaching.

Teachers work the fewest hours, averaging fewer than 30 hours each week, according to the bar chart. Police officers work around 5 hours per week more than teachers, who work around 35 hours each week. Employees in the fire service work almost 40 hours per week, while nurses work the longest shifts, clocking in at more than 55 hours per week, a full 15 hours more than those in the fire service.

Teachers receive the lowest compensation for the profession due to their relatively minimal hours worked. However, for the remaining three jobs, the balance between hours worked and income earned is flipped, with nurses earning the least of the three and police officers earning over £15,000 more at £52,050. With the exception of teaching, it is evident that the amount of hours worked and the income earned are inversely proportional.

Each profession's salary has grown after three years, which may be deducted. The subway train driver, on the other hand, received the highest raise of 2500 pounds, while the police officer received the lowest raise of 600 pounds.
