Model Answer 1

Many people who are working get little to no time to exercise. Their work shift consumes all their energy after which they are left with no motivation to work out. This has affected their health adversely and they have invited various diseases. This essay will discuss the causes that have led to this problem and the measures that can be taken to combat this issue.

Nowadays health problems are increasing among working professionals due to the sedentary lifestyle. Earlier any to every kind of work required some kind of physical movement. Due to industrialization, machines have replaced humans and after the internet, humans have taken to their computers to do any kind of work. They have no time for any physical activity as the major portion of their hours are consumed by work after which they become exhausted to even think of any physical activity. Even in the workspace, people are expected to be an overachiever and only are they recognized and are given a promotion. The whole day is full of anxiety and stress which leaves little room for engagement in any physical activity after work.

Certain measures can be adopted to improve their conditions. Companies play an important role and they should ensure that their employees are not overburdened with work just so they achieve some numbers. They should allow them time to devote to their health. People should be made aware that nothing is above health after all. The mad rat race to chase money has to end. Small gyms and sports centres can be established at the workplace for recreation and healthy food choices should be made available for employees.

To conclude, a collaborative approach should be followed by people as well as companies so that the working population get a chance to fix their health and value it for its worth. Their well being affects their productivity and if their health is affected negatively, then the money they would be making at the cost of their well being would mean nothing.

Model Answer 2

The working class have become prone to various health illnesses due to their lifestyle. Their weekdays are occupied with lots of work and weekends are meant for little getaways in the mountains or parties with friends. This essay will discuss the reason why the working population do not get enough exercise and what can be done to improve their condition.

The major reason why working individuals do not get ample time to exercise is the load of work that they are pressurised with. They do not even get time to breathe. They do a 9-hour shift for almost a whole week.

Even when they are not working on weekends, they are still taking work-related calls. It almost looks like work is at the centre and everything else is at the periphery. For example, a recent study showed that working adults spend more than 48 hours at work when they have to shoulder several responsibilities. Everyone wants a good life for themselves and their families. This requires extra effort and most of the people overtime to earn extra money. This sometimes takes a toll on their health and is a contributing factor towards the declining health of adults.

To solve this problem, companies should ensure that their employees do some exercise during work hours too. Even if it is for 15-20 minutes, that will do wonders for their health and recharge them to perform much better in their respective work. Government should organise health-related campaigns so that people can be made aware of the adverse effects not taking care of health can cause.

To conclude, due to modern work pressure, people get very little time to engage in any physical activity but they need to manage time and push themselves to make some physical movements. The companies should also do their bit to take care of their employees and not treat them as machines. They should remember that their employees’ health is directly proportional to the productivity of the company.

Model Answer 3

A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. This means that good health would lead to more output. In the current time, working people lead a sedentary life which has resulted in their bodies becoming home to various diseases. This essay will discuss the reason for a lifestyle that has no time for exercise and the steps that can be followed to improve the condition.

The modern world has gone digital and everything that was earlier done manually is done by sitting in front of a computer. This has added to the number of hours people sit on chairs and work. From working inside the four walls to being unable to strike a work-life balance, people are doomed to have diseases. They neglect their health, sit in a position that hurt their spine and torture their eyes by glueing them to screens. The employees are motivated in the name of incentives and bonuses which honestly is not worth all that risk. Since people have families or high aspirations, they keep working towards their goals without realising the slave they become to the world of capitalism. Many people working in the private sector are given only 12-15days of paid leave annually which they like spending on their long-planned vacations. At the office, they use lifts to climb the floors, use intercoms to connect with their colleagues and eat unhealthily from the canteen. These simple lifestyle choices have led to a massive impact on the health of people.

To combat this problem, people should be made aware of the problems this lifestyle choice is causing and can further cause. Running campaigns, advertisements, showing documentaries on demographic health conditions can probably make them realise what they are losing to gain just a few extra bucks. Employers should fix working hours so that employees get time to look after their health and spend time with their loved ones. Sports tournaments can be organized in the workplace on the last working day of the week so that employees stay motivated and feel rejuvenated to start the next week with zeal and happiness. In this fast-paced world, we need to take a break, appreciate the health that we have and make conscious choices to improve it.

To conclude, people must not neglect their health as it is the real wealth that we all have. The human body needs physical workouts as much as it needs food. Therefore, people should value and add more to their physical well being.
