Band 7 IELTS Essay

These days, there are a lot of new diseases brought on by a lot of viruses. Therefore a lot of funding comes from many sources, including private businesses, individuals, or governments. It appears that numerous groups do independent research and drug development. In my opinion, non-profit entities like governments should lead the development of studying pills. I'll investigate my thoughts and provide some light in this essay.

First off, it appears that the pills they sell might not be reliable because many private teams may profit from their drug research efforts. For instance, in the past, a Canadian corporation misled people worldwide about the effects of a prescription drug they developed. So they could sell the bruch antibiotic and make a significant profit. However, a large number of people were in danger of dying due to pharmacological side effects. Therefore, the medication sold by individual businesses can be regarded as coming from dubious sources.

Second, I think the government should support medical research because they benefit from these programs. And we can fully rely on their medications because they are non-profit. For instance, governments from many different countries. The world has invested a lot of money to develop the vaccine for the COVID-19 disease. And it comes from the national budget to assist its population.

The price of medicine or therapy will increase. These companies' management is undoubtedly more focused on making a profit than on the welfare of their employees. Therefore, no one will be able to profit from the outcome. This has been confirmed by the current COVID-19 situation. For instance, the rising cost of vaccinations is causing the stock price of Pfizer, one of the makers, to soar. As a result, the government was required to buy the vaccine and give it to the poor.

In conclusion, because the government has non-profit and trustworthy sources, research on medicine plans must come from them. Additionally, it's probable that private firms are the unreliable sources. And that a sizable portion of the population was suffering from serious health issues as a result of their deceptions.

A potent tool that can be employed to keep the world moving forward is medical science. Similar to how most people in many nations experience poverty, starvation, and other problems that can only be resolved by medical care. Medical treatment surveys are assisting people, which is one of today's most contentious issues, but who should conduct these surveys? The causes for this trend will be discussed in the paragraphs that follow, along with some examples. And assertions that are pertinent and based on my personal experiences.

A potent tool that can be employed to keep the world moving forward is medical science. Similar to how most people in many nations experience poverty, starvation, and other problems that can only be resolved by medical care. Medical treatment surveys are assisting people, which is one of today's most contentious issues. But who should conduct these surveys? The causes for this trend will be discussed in the paragraphs that follow. Along with some examples and assertions that are pertinent and based on my personal experiences.

Understanding who is better at conducting surveys—governments, people, or private companies—is the first step. Authorities are one of the main causes. Governments should also undertake surveys because they have the means to reach out to people in many settings. Including both large cities and remote rural areas. The only entity with the power to enter any location within a nation is the government. However, as everyone has a personal life of their own. It will be challenging for them to leave their personal work and travel to another location to meet individuals. While it is the duty of the government to assist its inhabitants, surveys can be easily carried out by individuals.

The second and primary reason, though, is modern medicine. As is well known, the government has many facilities that are quite helpful. However, a large number of people suffer from rare diseases that neither the general public nor private businesses are aware of. As a result, only the government can learn about these illnesses with the aid of cutting-edge medical professionals and treat them. This is best illustrated by the fact that in India it is the government's job to carry out these kinds of surveys. In 2018, the Hindustan Times newspaper said that the government had eradicated 70% of diseases from numerous locations. By performing surveys and working with outstanding medical professionals.

In conclusion, I think it's important to have all the necessary resources and money to approach various locations for conducting surveys. But the government already has all those aspects, making it the greatest choice for treating people effectively and efficiently.

Medical surveys are frequently carried out to evaluate the health issues that affect a specific population or group. Such surveys, in my opinion, can be carried out by both the government and private businesses. But people shouldn't be permitted to carry them out.

The public benefits when the government funds such surveys. The results of government-sponsored medical surveys will be objective. Additionally, the suggested course of therapy will be more economical and efficient. Governments, in contrast to private businesses, are not driven by financial success. The results of their polls are therefore more likely to be helpful to the wider public. For these reasons, only the government should carry out medical surveys on serious illnesses or diseases like cancer or mental health disorders.

Contrarily, private businesses are profit-driven. They must advertise their goods in order to tamper with the outcomes. Therefore, we cannot have complete faith in these businesses. For instance, the results of a survey conducted by a toothpaste firm will always emphasize how great the product is. Therefore, in the cosmetic industry, when it is not a matter of life and death, private enterprises may be permitted to conduct surveys. Additionally, individuals who wish to improve their appearance are unlikely to mind paying more. However, permitting them to gather data on critical health issues could have fatal repercussions.

Individuals are not permitted to conduct health surveys, thus there. They shouldn't be permitted to conduct surveys since they lack the resources, infrastructure, and funding necessary to conduct legitimate ones.

Another obvious factor is that private corporations frequently lack the expertise about the investigations needed to perform and fund medical research. For instance, most governments typically have sufficient information relating to various demands of the populace. Such as looking into a new remedy for diseases like malaria that are incurable.

To sum up, health surveys should be promoted because they are essential for keeping a community healthy. But since private company polls are more likely to be skewed, only government organizations should undertake surveys on severe health issues.
