Model answer 1

The democratic approach of government provides the power to make laws within a nation. The power that enables individuals to make laws are remarked as a superpower. It is a sign that sets and highlights the power that can help change the lives of individuals. However, there is a necessity to ensure that this power is utilised in a judicial and correct manner.

How can you do it?

Thus, if I’m honored with the mentioned power, the first thing I would like to do is change the life of a helpless individual that might die out of hunger. I reside in a small village in the southern part of West Bengal. Post-independence, this part of West Bengal was deprived of a number of facilities that are regarded as daily necessities in the lives of individuals. Out of these challenges, one of the major challenges faced by our village was a shortage or lack of food. There have been a number of reforms in order to change the lives of the individuals residing in our village. With the potential efforts made by the government, its representative, and a few of the activists, we thrived through that stage and deal with the challenge of lack of food. Thus, India, today is the leading producer of wheat in comparison to the global indexes of production of wheat.

What obstacles could come?

Although the simile is jubilant in tone, the paradoxical condition still exists in the nation. I'm wrapping up my discussion of hunger and death. Currently, 4500 children every day in India pass away, which is alarmingly high. Three lakh youngsters die from starvation each year. This amount only applies to minors; when combined, the numbers could reach hazardous levels. Are we even independent, is the query I wish to pose. Politically, yeah, but we're still confined by grave problems like starvation and malnutrition. India is a skilled exporter and is engaged in numerous initiatives to resolve these problems. However, the question of why we can't lessen it arises. The problem is a lack of political will and ineffective management. If I ever, get the opportunity to change something and make humble decisions, I’d be working on the challenges of scarcity of food and work on the hunger index.

Why do you want to make this change?

Power comes with a heavy burden of duty. Someone with such power cannot be uninformed since if it has the power to change someone's life, it also has the power to ruin it. I wish to assist those who face food insecurity. The most basic requirement for human survival is food. Therefore, millions of people will be happy as a result of this shift.

Model answer 2

If I get the power to change something in the place where I live, I would like to improve the existing medical facility and introduce modern medical facilities.

How can you do it?

The hospital facilities should not only be available in a locality. It must also be accessible to all, even the poorest of the poor shall be able to benefit from medical needs. I will be honored to change this system and make medical treatment available to all. I want to do it with the help of governmental organizations and NGOs. Since I am a part of an active NGO, it will help me fulfill this desire.

What obstacles could come?

In the present scenario, modern medicine is advancing each day. The inflation rate today is crushing the expectations of basic medical requirements. The middle class and even the upper medical class are struggling to get advanced medical facilities at an affordable cost. The extortionate taxes on the manufacturing of medical equipment and the high cost of production coupled with the economic division of people. These all are increasing the cost of medical treatment in the place where I live. Even the poorest of the poor should feel proud of the constitution of the country, which assures the right to life with dignity as a justifiable right. Dignity can only be assured to the people of the country if the health department is secured. It should be accessible to everybody. It should be biased and judged based on status and money.

Why do you want to make this change?

This problem is not unique to India only it is persistent in all parts of the world but state-controlled media are compelled not to bring it into the mainstream. So if I get any chance to change anything at the place where I live that would be making advanced medical treatment available and accessible to all.

Model answer 3

How can you do it?

I live in the densest place in the country. Undoubtedly there are many faces of my city which also implies there are negative sides too. There are negative sides such as the lack of excellent road communication with the absence of street lights. I want to change it by adding solar streetlights.

What obstacles could come?

The problem is important to all because many anti-social elements take advantage of the missing street lights. It helps their ill intent and deeds like robbery, murder, and also a heinous crimes like rape.
This scarcity of light is also a problem for drivers and other law-abiding citizens. Therefore, I would be obliged if I get any chance to mitigate the same challenge. Keeping environmental degradation in the purview I will install solar energy run lights.

Why do you want to make this change?

Once solar street lights get installed they are going to benefit the social life of the people of my region. The region will flourish and prove to be a better and safer place for women and other aggrieved classes of society. The improved visibility due to street lights will ease driving in the evening and night. This will help in reducing road fatalities of humans as well as of animals.
Turning the table and taking a step toward the welfare of society will be an overwhelming moment for me. I became acquainted with the fact that the framework isn’t really awful and that we likewise can positively impact the lives of people residing in my locality.
