Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

Environmental pollution has become a more serious problem in the twenty-first century and is currently the most dangerous problem. The human race is evolving more quickly, and as we enter an era of advancements, there are more challenges than ever. The human race has managed to advance in every area of life, but as a result of these developments, it is currently dealing with grave consequences. One of the biggest dangers we now face is water pollution. Although there are many causes of water pollution, the issue may be resolved with the appropriate tools. In this essay, I'll examine a few of the factors that contribute to water contamination and make some recommendations for how to fix the issue.

A sizeable portion of the world's population is struggling with issues related to a lack of fresh drinking water as a result of the condition of water adulteration having gone beyond its limits. In many underdeveloped countries worldwide, there have been more cases of deaths as a result of the lack of access to fresh drinking water. In addition, industrialization has spawned a number of businesses and organisations that pollute and release dangerous substances into large bodies of water, lowering the quality of the water. The consumption of it by living things is also harmful as a result of this. By drinking the contaminated water, animals in addition to humans are also harmed.

The second factor that significantly contributes to water pollution is the uncontrolled disposal of trash and waste materials into rivers, lakes, and the ocean. It is essential to establish strict laws and regulations that will aid in containing the problem of polluted water. In addition, businesses and organisations that release toxic substances into water bodies will be subject to restrictions. By enforcing severe penalties for violations, this can be restrained. As a final point, let me say that the environment has already suffered greatly due to human activity. However, dealing with these issues can be aided by taking small, gentle steps.

Band 6 IELTS Essay

The increased amount of chemical waste that is being produced by the organisations and industries has led to a surge in water pollution rates. Industrialisation, though, has given an advantage to society, yet there are setbacks that are impacting lives of the living beings and degrading the environment at an increased pace.

However, it is not too late to start dealing with this challenge and recovering from the damage caused by mankind to the environment. In order to deal with this challenge, there is a necessity for the presence of an appropriate waste management system. A number of industries lack appropriate waste management and disposal systems and drain the waste into freshwater bodies. The toxic chemicals are responsible for degrading the quality of the water bodies leading to significant colour change. This further leads to an increase in the number of minerals within the water bodies and impacts the temperature affecting the water ecosystem. Thus, it is needless to mention that these lead to the death of water organisms in several different ways. For example, the daily shipment activity and seaport operations are the reason for oil spills. The spilling of oil in the water bodies leads to the establishment of a thick layer on the water's surface. Thus, it leads to damage to marine life as it cuts the supply of oxygen. This challenge can be dealt with in a number of ways. Individuals and industrialists can take small measures and collaborate amongst themselves to ensure the reduction of contamination of water in the ecosystem. Moreover, people can reduce dropping waste associated with plastic. Furthermore, the garbage generated by businesses should be controlled. Governments in industrialised nations keep a tight grip on them. Developing countries must also address the problem. To summarise, although many firms produce a large amount of hazardous waste and dump it into the ocean, rules and policies must be implemented to mitigate the problem. Individuals can also work together to assist marine ecology.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

Water decomposition is the major challenge that mankind is dealing with in recent years. This essay will highlight the reasons behind the occurrence of water pollution and how it can be overcome. First and foremost there are a number of ways that can be addressed for the increased water deterioration. One of the major contributors to this aspect is the age of industrialisation.

It is necessary to have a proper waste management system in place in order to cope with this problem. Several industries lack proper waste management and disposal methods, dumping trash into freshwater sources. Toxic substances are to blame for the deterioration of water quality, which results in substantial colour shifts. This causes an increase in the number of minerals in the water bodies, as well as an influence on the temperature, which affects the aquatic ecology. As a result, it goes without saying that they cause the mortality of aquatic species in a variety of ways. For instance, cholera which has become common in today’s lifestyle has emerged due to increased pollution in water bodies. Another major cause can be highlighted as the connection between drainage systems and water bodies. Furthermore, an event such as an oil leak in a body of water contributes to the situation. Furthermore, fertilisers and other chemicals used to preserve crops and plants or improve production seep into the soil, contaminating groundwater that is then used for numerous purposes. However, these challenges can be effectively dealt with by the active participation and engagement of individuals and the government. These issues can be easily dealt with by incorporating stricter laws against colluding water. Increased taxes on companies can be implemented upon polluting a water body. Proper waste management and waste disposal systems are to be established in each of the industries. To conclude, I would like to highlight that mankind is responsible for this damage we are dealing with.
