Visit Own Country Before Travelling Abroad IELTS Writing Task 2

To begin with, my country is one of those that offers many beautiful places to visit, as well as unique cultures and traditions to explore as a home citizen, attracting many tourists to visit. As a result, it is critical for me as a local to learn more about my own area and its resources. For example, in Indonesia, each province has its unique culture, including traditional language, food, and even clothes, all of which are fascinating to learn about.

Aside from that, traveling within our own country would be far less expensive than traveling abroad for a holiday. To begin with, booking an international ticket is frequently more expensive than booking a domestic flight, not to mention the administrative costs such as a passport and visa. The cost of living is also quite high due to the currency differential, especially when traveling from a developing to a developed country. In comparison, my spending in Singapore roughly doubled the amount of money I spent in Jogja over a fairly identical duration and range of activities.

To summarize, while some people choose to travel abroad for vacations, I prefer to explore my local nation in order to understand more about the location and also since it is typically less expensive than the other alternative.

First of all, encountering a different culture—especially one that is foreign—may provide fresh insights that, in certain cases, could advance one's professional development. Individuals with a diverse background tend to be able to view a situation from a wider perspective, which leads to better informed and careful decisions. For instance, a large number of CEOs in California who are descended from immigrants frequently succeed in breaking into foreign markets due to their extensive familiarity with them. 

They have the ability to better understand difficulties in emerging countries, which leads to market penetration success. In other words, having a larger perspective is a benefit of international travel.

Second, visiting different countries may provide several chances. There are numerous hidden chances elsewhere, and some of them may not exist in our own country for a variety of reasons, including climate and political situations. This results in a professional limitation that someone may regret in the future for not pushing themselves beyond the limit. For example, many Westerners who visit Bali become digital nomads because they find new jobs that can be done online while also enjoying Bali's natural beauty. 

To conclusion, I favor local vacations over overseas vacations since they change the way we think and provide many opportunities that may improve our future professions.

Any type of travel strengthens and maintains a person's mental health. Most individuals attempt to start with visiting the most popular tourist destinations in their home nations. First of all, it's incredibly economical. Neither a passport nor a visa will be required. Many of the tourist destinations that we might find in foreign nations are right here at home. 

Certain places are unique and impossible to locate. For example, the Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world, making it a particularly special location. This is not available in other regions of the world.

Some folks are very popular for taking international trips. For instance, some vloggers who are passionate about travel have the option to take a global journey. When we travel, we often encounter a variety of challenges, including financial constraints, linguistic barriers, and more. People who lack education usually struggle because they are illiterate.Basic necessities are also more expensive in other countries.

In conclusion, finding and visiting well-known locations within our own nation is secure and pleasant. Furthermore, recommending it to our friends and family will be a breeze.
