Everyone should acquire the valuable life skill of being able to spend money wisely. Whether or not students should be taught this skill as part of the curriculum is up for debate. This essay will discuss the significance of teaching young children regarding responsible money management.

First and foremost, children are better than adults at learning, absorbing, and adjusting to new skills. Their mind is fresh and they can grasp things easily. To put it another way, teaching children the value of money and how to spend it wisely will help them develop the habit of wise spending early on. This will make it easier for them to continue it as adults. For instance, children who consider the cost of an item before purchasing it and whether or not it is necessary will find it simpler to do so when they reach adulthood. On the other hand, children who do not understand the value of money and rely on their parents. They will find it extremely challenging to properly manage their spending once they reach adulthood. As a result, developing this skill at school makes it a habit.

Secondly, teaching children the right way to spend money not only helps them practice it as adults, but it also teaches them valuable skills like planning and calculation. Even though some of these skills are difficult for young children to learn, they will get better over time. they will learm more as they get older and experience a variety of important life skills.

In conclusion, while children should not worry about important life issues during their childhood. They should learn new things which will help them when they grow up. Money management is very important and should be included as part of a school education program.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Most schools focus on other academic subjects while ignoring money management skills. As a result, despite their academic success, many students struggle to manage their finances in real life. Academic studies and financial intelligence are two independently developed skills. Therefore, I believe that money management and the value of money needs to be taught in schools.

Financial independence is the ability to make your money work for you rather than the other way around. Despite what their salaries bring in, students who are given the opportunity to learn how to spend, invest, and save money rarely find themselves in a financial bind. These abilities are frequently acquired through family and education. Regardless of how much their jobs pay them, students without these skills frequently find themselves without enough money. They never learn how to maximize their strengths. Because it is their sole source of income, it makes them dependent on it for life. They spend the majority of their earnings on their debts, leaving them with very little money saved.

All students will have the opportunity to acquire these skills if money management is taught as part of the school curriculum. As they get older, they will acquire more financial and money knowledge. They will have a better perspective when making financial decisions in the future. A society that is more secure, enriched, and self-sufficient will result from this. Teaching students about money management is so important because the lessons they learn in school stick with them for a long time.

In conclusion, although earning money is not our ultimate objective in life, it is the source of our security and satisfaction. The ability to value and manage money is an essential life skill. Therefore, I believe that lessons on financial management needs to be incorporated into the curriculum of schools. By doing this, a growing number of students will be able to have a prosperous future financially.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

In today's world, schooling plays a crucial role in preparing young people for adulthood. This includes socialization, preparation for admission to senior educational institutions, and a wide range of specialized subjects. Sadly, I tend to agree that the school curriculum doesn't give enough attention to very important issues that people face every day, like financial literacy. We also know this by the name money management.

It's possible that a lot of people will disagree with this opinion. People think that the school program includes enough skills for teaching subjects like mathematics and statistics. They believe that children can get all the fundamental skills they need to do the right calculations. Some schools, like the one where I was being studied, even offer specialized economic courses, but these are rare and not part of the standard curriculum. In any case, school children do not comprehend how to put all of this knowledge and skill to use in practice. However, m,oney management is very important and knowledge of mathematics cannot solve it. This subject teaches how to manage money and not calculate money. Students can calculate their money but do not know where to invest or keep for later life. This is what money management teaches.

Unfortunately, financial literacy is not taught in the majority of schools, nor is it common practice to discuss it with family members. For instance, microloans are very popular in Moscow and many other large Russian cities because they are quick. They don't require a lot of paperwork, and typically range in amount from 20 to 350 euros. Due to the fact that all of these loans have terrible interest rates, I believe that a lack of financial literacy is to blame for their popularity. However, the majority of Russians are wary of large loans and believe that they are extremely unprofitable.

In conclusion, I would like to add that education in schools places a significant emphasis on preparing students for higher education and, to a lesser extent, for adulthood. Financial literacy appears to be a taboo subject to teach. This is not only to adults but also inaccessible for schoolchildren, who do not earn money on their own.
