Band 8 Answer

The time duration or intermission within which the fast foods of the restaurants were consumed by the people in the country of USA has been depicted in the above bar chart. The bar showed the time duration, which began in the year 2003 and ends in the year 2013.

It is crystal from the above bar chart that two kinds of people prevails in the society those who adopt the habit of visitng the fast food restaurants once in every week. Additionaly, the statistics pointed higher towards the people who generally pays their visits for the restaurants once or even twice on a monthly basis. Although, the ratio of people who doesn't visit often or frequently in the rastaurants has a minimal number in the bar chart as compared to those who visit almost every day.

The graph shows that in the USA's fast food scales, the highest proportion of consumers were those who visited fast food restaurants once a week or less. These two years, 2003 and 2006, with corresponding standing statistics of 31% and 33%, might be noted. However, in 2013, this percentage fell sharply to a scale of 27%. Additionally, the percentage of people who met the requirement of doing so once or twice each month decreased from 30% to 25%. However, in 2013, with figures showing a value of 33%, this increased. As a result, this group has the highest increasing statistics for the year under consideration.

The ratio of people having fast food in restaurants almost every times in a week remains in between 15% to 20%. Also, the people who barely visits the restaurant for having the fast food even in ayear risen from 13% to 15%. To sum up, it can be seen that in neither of the three years were there more than 5% in the category of every day or never.

Band 7 Answer

How frequently Americans visited fast food outlets during the last three years is shown in the accompanying bar chart (2003, 2006 and 2013).

Overall, although the percentage of individuals eating at fast food establishments only once per week. It was the most significant between 2003 and 2006, it was supplanted in 2013 by a group comprising individuals who visited one or two times per month. People who frequent the restaurant daily also had the lowest percentage.

First of all, at the beginning of the time period, the percentage of people who ate fast food once a week was just over 30%. This number increased to around 33% in 2006 and then decreased to about 5% in 2013. In contrast, between 2003 and 2006, there was a 10% fall in the number of people who visited restaurants once or twice per month. After that, it increased to around 33% in the final year of the study, surpassing the percentage of people who eat fast food every week.

To highlight the lowest statistics, individuals consuming fast food in US restaurants every day stood at a rate of 5%. Moreover, 10% of the population never visited the restaurants within a span of 10 years.

Band 6.5 Answer

The bar chart portrays a detailed overview of the fast food consumption by a group of people in the USA. These statistics are for the year; 2003, 2006, and 2013. Overlooking the perspective as presented in the graphs, it can be highlighted that consumption of fast food even once a week became less common. However, consumption of fast food once a week or twice a month stood as a dominant trend. However, the major exception in this aspect can be highlighted as the pattern of not eating fast food that declined consecutively.

The graph demonstrates that individuals in the year 2003 consumed fast food once a week at the rate of 31%. However, 30% of the population consume fast food twice a month. However, this trend was further diverted to those consuming fast food one a week that rose by 34% in the year 2006. Moreover, this fell down to a percentage of 27% in the year 2013. In addition to that, consumption of fast food once or twice a month fell to 25%. However, this stats rose to 34% in the final year.

The percentage of people who ate fast food frequently was 17% in 2003, 20% in 2006, and a low of 15% in 2013. In comparison, 13% of people ate fast food occasionally in 2003, and this percentage stayed at 15% for the remaining two years of the study. The numbers for every day and never were almost comparable. This was with the former reaching a low of 4% in 2006 and a high of 3% in 2013. While the latter began at 5% and dropped to a low of 4% in both of those years.
