Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

Many people believe that higher education should prepare students more professionally. For future career pathways in terms of practical skills. While detractors claim that university curricula should solely emphasize intellectual and theoretical knowledge. Both perspectives are supported, as far as I can tell, by the following factors.

First off, it's important to remember that in today's world, having practical skills is one of the requirements for landing a promising career. Numerous studies have revealed that, despite being invisible. The strain of strong competition has increased the need for additional abilities like administration and problem-solving.

For instance, graduates with a lot of internship experience are sought after by employers at many well-known organizations. Like the Big Four, among the largest economic companies in the world. As a consequence, they may be able to help people not only increase their chances of landing a good job but also their capacity for handling social issues.

Second, those who disagree with this respond that university education should exclusively focus on academic study. Because it provides the best foundation for job advancement. Although this argument is lacking, it might be true to some degree.

To maintain a high academic standard and further the development of cutting-edge technology. I believe universities, as institutions of higher learning, must teach students more cutting-edge material. Many college students simultaneously plan to apply for a master's degree. And I disagree that a university education should emphasize future-oriented skills and tools. Today, many students might not be able to find a job that is linked to their field of study. Making it challenging for universities to select what job skills they should educate them.

They overlook the notion that practical and theoretical skills are, in some way, strongly related to one another. In other words, persons who are not taught learning abilities will not understand and pay attention in university courses. Which will affect how well they succeed in their future employment.

Universities and colleges should continue to preserve the necessary work skills. And not undervalue the value of academic information, as was previously stated.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Nowadays, students are more and more required to have a higher education background because most employers pay close attention to a degree. As a result, although some believe that programs emphasizing job training and expertise should be included in higher education. Others argue that it is essential for students to learn academic material in universities. As far as I can tell, graduates' futures are largely influenced by their job methods.

In fact, improving students' intellectual skills can broaden their views and is the primary goal of higher education. Students can absorb a variety of information and have a better grasp of society by being exposed to a big amount of knowledge. Students' minds can grow as they absorb new information. They can more clearly assess the problems they run into and take a broad view of how things are developing. And when they think more and more about problems and what the benefits are. And drawbacks of those situations are, critical thinking progressively gets ingrained in their thinking.

However, only emphasizing academic skills would not aid pupils in becoming more socially adept; practice training and expertise are more important. Schools should instruct students how to hunt for a suitable career. Because practically all pupils will depart the community and seek employment in order to make a livelihood and realize their value. With the use of these techniques studied by students, graduates can gain a thorough grasp of themselves and help them find jobs swiftly. Additionally, the employee must give value to the firm through their technology and actions. If a student simply has practical knowledge, he will be unable to perform any work.

As a result, academic ability is essential, but it is only the foundation. The foundation will solidify and become deeply ingrained in students' thoughts as they do more activities. Students should maintain an eye on the acquisition of professional skills throughout their academic careers for the aforementioned reasons.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

Many people believe that universities should prepare students for their potential careers. However, other people believe that education should be restricted to the classroom. In my opinion, the university should include practical courses in its curricula while concentrating on academic areas.

On the one extreme, businesses and industries today require skilled people. However, many graduates don't feel ready for the workforce because they only receive academic training. Which results in a lack of experience and a consequent decline in business quality.

For instance, since each electronic engineer must take theoretical courses in wireless communications and circuit analysis throughout each semester. Their knowledge of the software used for their jobs, such as Ansys, is insufficient. As a result, the sector must invest more time in learning this software.

Theoretical studies, on the other extreme, are equally important to the student's development. They develop analytical thinking and calculating skills that cannot be acquired through practical courses. Which leads to the use of mathematical background to solve difficulties that are encountered. For instance, when faced with challenging or novel issues in the field of economics, economists turn to theoretical models.

Additionally, one can develop their own skills via effort. However, learning academic material is far more difficult than learning through experience, thus university students must always take these classes.

According to me, universities serve a variety of industries. As a result, in addition to academic teachings, students are required to attend courses in software or labs that give them practice for their jobs. This might be more appropriate for a corporate or an academic setting.

In conclusion, exercising for industry in university is equally crucial for a student's child's future. And industries or companies, even though skills utilized in areas of life can be gained by university programs. And the theoretical sections are much more difficult.
