Band 8 IELTS Essay

In order to grasp knowledge and attain a higher level of education, the students choose to travel to the universities and colleges which are located all around the world. There still remains a contrast in the opinion because some of them has a firm belief that the knowledge we get from the universities does not help us in meeting our job preconditions and specifications. On the other hand, another group of people thinks that the purpose of sending students to colleges or universities is to acquire elementary as well as academic knowledge, instead of beneficial in the job fields. According to me, besides florurishing the knowledge of the students, the universities or colleges should also take a step towards boosting the students to make professional skills which will be helpful for their career. The main subject due to which the students are travelling to the universities is to enhance their knowledge and perspectives regarding their chosen subject. The students should keep one thing on their mind that the field being competitive, they should obtain thorough knowledge about what are the mandatory and necessary things required for someone to get a job in any field. A applicant must be aware of the requirements while looking for work, which is a difficult endeavour. Also, some competence and qualification should be taken with by the candidates before entering in their work field. I believe that when an applicant spends four or five years in college to earn a degree that doesn't fit the employer's requirements, it is unfair. For instance, it would be exceedingly challenging for a candidate to obtain credibility if the civil engineer received no actual training for construction. However, education is a vital feature for a person’s inner progression and advancement, is a thought process for some people. The students through the medium of education learns to be self-restraint and obedient. They think the applicant can register in any additional targeted course that will aid in learning or enhancing targeted abilities and may help the applicant understand the work requirements. He will be able to get experience and a living in this way in the future. Universities and colleges are generally in charge of giving students all the knowledge and skills they require for their vocations. They can have a prosperous profession and support themselves in this manner.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

This is a debatable question that if the college or university only provides education or it shall also provide skills and knowledge that are required in the workplace. I believe that the role of universities and colleges is to provide fundamental knowledge that which would make them ready to work for various companies. To start with, there are a bunch of individuals who are graduated from a university that provides information about the required workplace skills. People with knowledge and well developed skills would easily get opportunities from companies. Most of the companies while hiring look for extra skills other than the educational degree. So having business skills would enhance the CV to get noticed also making the candidate confident about getting the job, regardless the questions that can be asked in the interview. Thus, the chance of encountering a job for those with occupational skills is higher than those with just the educational degree. Company while hiring looks for experience or any any particualar skill that would help the company to be benefitted in long run. It is also equally important that the qualified graduates could embrace their workplace when they start a new job. This makes them motivated to work for their job. Apart from employees having business skills and information that would increase the productivity of the company, the company should also hire freshers and teach new staff the working procedures. The company should spend time and company in teaching its employees to learn better. This would ensure the dedication of the employees, also making them efficient about the business. Lastly, to conclude I would add that colleges and universities should teach skills that are mandatory for work to their employment. In my perspective, universities should help students to sharpen their skills for occupational purposes, this could be advantageous both for the individuals and the employers.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

In the recent times, taking further education at college or university is certainly important keeping in mind the future perspective of life. This is the sole reason why parents send their child to college. They want them to be prepared for the work, whilst other parents believe that it is necessary to go to college to whether important for the securing future jobs or not. Therefore, in this essay, I would like totalk about the reasons why I agree with the first notion as well as give a reasonable or convincing conclusion about this matter. To start with, universities for me is a place where many young people gain or acquire knowledge and skills which are essential and useful for jobs. The purpose of entering the college is to get both theoretical and practical practice in order to fulfil the requirements of the future job. I think the university should provide many trainings that are really appropriate for the students to get desiring jobs. For instance, many colleges provide rich theoretical knowledge but lack the practical knowledge, but it is the practical skills which are essential for the workplace. One way is to get additional practical skills and knowledge from any other course that specifically train for any desired occupational skills. Secondly, if the college or university provide extra skill then it would add some more hours with the regular class hours which might be strenuous for many students. As students along with the college classes also have part-time jobs to manage finances. More over spending additional hours mght be stressful for introverted students. They might feel vulnerable and lose their rational thoughts. So company can hire freshers then teach its employees to learn business skills and information that would increase the productivity of the company. The company should spend time and company in teaching its employees to learn better. Thus, in a nutshell, even though some people might convey that college should give much perspicuity into many areas required for jobs, but for me, the function of the university is allowing the pupils to have theoretical and practical skills that are needed for the jobs to keep the education standard is reachable for most of the aspirants.
