Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

With the advent of globalization, the tourism industry is also booming. This industry can bring benefits to both individuals and society. Also with more people, the industry is growing continuously. In this essay, some of the advantages will be discussed.

A person traveling to new places gains new experiences and education for life. Travelling brings together cultures, countries, and most importantly people. Culture, languages, and food are just a few examples of what a man learns from traveling. These events result in the acquisition of new knowledge as a result of the experience. Individually, tourism can provide a plethora of job opportunities for residents. Many hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops, and travel agencies will open for the tourist trade, providing numerous opportunities for locals to work in this industry. Locals in many small towns across Europe, for example, are more likely to work in tourism. Additionally, tourism encourages locals to learn new languages. As a result, numerous tourists come from different countries, necessitating the use of languages other than the local language by tourism employees. In social terms, tourism has the potential to significantly boost the economy. Tourists consume a lot of resources, including lodging, visits to tourist attractions, transportation, and product purchases. All of this will generate a significant amount of revenue for the local government. Local facilities have also been improved as a result of tourism investment. Restaurants and shopping malls have been expanded, transportation systems have been improved, historical museums have been preserved, and transportation systems have been improved. All of these positive developments are beneficial to society. Disneyland was expanded several years ago in Hong Kong, with expanded facilities, a large artificial lake nearby, and the development of a new MTR line.

Tourism not only helps society but also individuals. People get jobs with an increase in tourism. Governments earn money from taxes and other benifits. Hence, tourism has benefited countries in a great way and is ever-growing.

For the purpose of the develoment of the countries, the tourism now plays a major and vital feature. It generates revenue for countries and supports their local economies. This essay will demonstrates in details the benefits of expanding such a business.

It will also examine how career possibilities and cultural exchange may help local communities. Tourism is without a dispute one of the most important economic tools that many governments have used. It has recently become obvious that governments are investing huge sums of money to create good facilities and amenities in order to attract tourists from all over the world.

Thousands of individuals, for example, are claimed to visit Paris on an annual or even monthly basis. As a result of such a big number of tourists, individuals would have the opportunity to establish a large number of jobs, which would be directly helpful to local communities. Tourism sectors can also help countries through other elements such as cultural exchange and variety. Participants come from a variety of countries, ethnic groups, and backgrounds. People can meet and socialise during such an event. Additionally, people share their values and practises with dignity. Indeed, such growth has the potential to make cities more cosmopolitan. International investors may flock to certain countries as a result. As a result, both local communities and individuals would profit greatly. To summarise, the tourism industry can play an important part in a county's development and prosperity. It allows local societies and people to actively engage in economic and cultural interaction.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

The tourism industry is critical to the country's development. It encourages people to travel to a location and appreciate both natural and man-made beauty. Tourism benefits both society and individuals.

Many people consider tourism to be a sunshine industry because of its enormous potential as an economic driving force in every country, as travelers continue to flood tourist destinations around the world. This essay will focus on the positive effects of this company on people and society. Many developing countries benefit from the offers that tourism has brought them. In many countries, this industry contributes significantly to economic growth. Employment is probably the most straightforward benefit that has been identified. This business provides a decent living for people in marginal areas, whether through direct or indirect employment. For example, tour guides, who are mostly locals, are the most popular tour guides among visitors because they are well-versed in the history of the area and can communicate with natives in the local language. For the locals, this can be a source of great pride in their cultural heritage and the preservation of their own identity. As a result, locals will assist authorities in preserving heritage sites that are at risk of disappearing. Similarly, tourism has proven to be one of the most effective ways for host communities to obtain significant foreign exchange. To begin, visitors spent dollars on necessities such as food, lodging, and transportation services, as well as entertainment and amusement. Second, dollars earned by businesses and local workers are frequently recirculated in the local economy. This sector not only contributes dollars, but it can also prompt local governments to improve infrastructure to improve access to essential services such as water, sewage, telecommunications, and transportation. These major infrastructure projects have the potential to improve residents' quality of life.

Finally, the above-mentioned benefits of tourism are unquestionably beneficial to local people, particularly the poor. Tourists will flock to a well-polished destination, resulting in a significant increase in the community's income. Travelers and locals alike must remember the importance of maintaining the area in order for it to become sustainable, in the sense that it does not degrade the environment.
