Band 8 IELTS Essay

The workplace is a very important place in a human being’s life. People come here to work but end up making numerous relationships. Some are good, and some are bad. They also develop friends, colleagues, and mates. In recent years, multigenerational workplaces have become the norm. Different generations work in the same place. I believe that this is beneficial and have multiple advantages rather than disadvantages.

Working in a multigenerational firm can be tough for many people. One of the most obvious reasons is that people of different ages often have different attitudes, making it difficult to cooperate with a colleague at a different stage of life. This problem often affects the decision-making process and causes a loss for the company. The difference in approach and attitude may also lead to corporate fights. This inturn harms and destroys the office environment. Young professionals, for example, prefer to move hastily to capture chances rather than carefully considering the issue as older personnel do. Experienced professionals can handle an issue in a calm and composed manner which the new generations cannot. Another factor is that experienced colleagues may prejudice against novice learners. This leads to harmful practices inside the firm and reduces team productivity. I believe that these disadvantages might be reduced if we consider the advantages and work accordingly. 

I believe that diversity in the workplace benefits the economic structure of a company. A mix of generations will have different thinking minds in the workplace. This will help the team to look at the problem from different perspectives. In contrast, if all team members are the same age, they may be unaware of the critical viewpoints of different age groups. Companies must keep employees of all ages. If they hire only young people, there will be no one to run the business. Experienced people who know the company and the process must be placed in a higher position. This ensures that young talents get good and proper guidance. Senior workers can coach younger colleagues to help them improve their leadership qualities. If the juniors listen to the seniors along with sharing their opinion, it will create a healthy place to work. respect among all generations is very important for a workplace to succeed. 

I believe that the organization should take care of this. They should be able to preserve harmony among people. A survey will be of great benefit to the company. The organization will come to know the requirements and the problems of every individual. This will solve the problems. Finally, people should embrace the multigenerational workplace since the advantages outweigh the concerns described above. I believe that the younger generation needs to learn the work from experienced employees. This one advantage is enough to outweigh the disadvantages. 

Band 7 IELTS Essay 

Multigenerational workplaces have been the norm in recent years. Despite the apparent drawbacks of generational differences, I believe the advantages outweigh the drawbacks.

There are a variety of reasons why working in a multigenerational organisation might be challenging. One important reason is because people of different ages frequently have different mindsets. For instance, like if an old colleague is working with you it will be difficult to collaborate with a colleague at a different stage of life.

This issue might cause some arguments during a collaborative decision-making process. Young professionals, for example, like to act quickly to seize opportunities rather than extensively examining the matter as older employees do. Another aspect is that experienced

colleagues may be prejudiced against inexperienced students. This leads to negative practices within the company and lowers team productivity.

Nonetheless, respecting diversity in the workplace has a number of advantages for firms. To begin, a diverse working group may investigate an issue from several perspectives, leading to major discussions and solutions. In contrast, if all team members are the same age, they may be oblivious of other age groups' critical opinions. Second, by keeping employees of various ages, such companies may keep a healthy talent and management pipeline at all levels and positions. Senior employees may teach younger colleagues to help them enhance their leadership skills, and managers can see potential leaders among such internal prospects. Finally, organisations will get the most from their employees if they maintain harmony among professionals of all ages within their workforce. Second, working in the public sector offers scientists many possibilities to learn. Civil researchers are permitted to travel or pursue higher education overseas because they are employees of governmental organisations. They consequently have several opportunities to interact with and become friends with scholars from around the globe. They can now recognise that as a wealth of experience.

Finally, people should embrace the multigenerational workplace because the benefits exceed the drawbacks. 

Band 6 IELTS Essay

In recent years, it has been the standard for organisations to have employees of many generations. In spite of what may seem to be the disadvantages of generational differences, I am of the opinion that the benefits much exceed the problems.

Working in an organisation that is composed of members of several generations may be difficult for a number of different reasons. One of the most significant reasons is that individuals of all ages often have distinct mentalities. For example, if a colleague of an older age is working with you, it will be tough to cooperate with a colleague who is at a different point in their life.

During the process of coming to a resolution in collaboration with others, this matter might spark some disagreement. Young professionals, for instance, like to take immediate action to capture chances rather than older workers. These are those who prefer to do in-depth research before making decisions. Another important consideration is the fact that it's possible that colleagues may look down on pupils with less experience. This results in unfavourable practises inside the organisation and brings the productivity of the workforce down.

Despite this, there are a lot of benefits that come with recognising diversity in the workplace for businesses. To get started, a varied working group may study a problem from a few different angles, which might lead to important conversations and potential solutions. When all of the members of a team are the same age, though, it's possible that they won't be aware of the critical perspectives of members of different age groups. Second, such businesses are more likely to maintain a healthy talent and management pipeline at all levels. There are positions if they retain workers of a variety of ages inside the workforce. Senior workers may educate their younger colleagues in order to help them improve their leadership abilities. In conclusion, companies will get the most from their workforce if they foster an environment that is harmonious among experts. These might be of varying ages working for the same company.

In conclusion, individuals need to be open to the multigenerational workforce since the advantages much outweigh the disadvantages of such an environment.
