Topic: These days more fathers stay at home and take care of their children while mothers go out to work. What could be the reason for this? Is it a positive or negative development?

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Stay-at-home parenting has been popular in recent years. Sociologists and psychologists are interested in research on this topic. This has become a very passionately disputed and debatable topic. In this essay, we will discuss about more fathers staying at home to take care of their children while mothers go out to work. We will also discuss if this is a negative or positive development.

In today's world, the idea of a stay-at-home dad is somewhat new. Because of today's financial difficulties, both parents are mostly working. Also, it is the right of both men and women to make their own lifestyle choices. Especially now that they are able to achieve an equal level of education and social position. For example, they could pick which one of them works out more and who takes care of the kids. We look to them as an example for our family. As my sister's salary was higher, they decided to have her go back to work after giving birth in order to raise more money for the family. Their way of life was shaped by their family's finances, despite their equal educational backgrounds. My sister and her husband are good examples of stay-at-home dads, and I expect that they may run into issues in the future. In many social situations, the guy is not a good choice for taking care of children because he does not enjoy details and lacks patience. This is what the children are looking for and constantly asking for. As a result, those fathers will soon become bored. Also, boredom can have a negative impact on children's mental health, and they are more likely to become nervous. When the usual rule of stay-at-home parenting is thrown out the window, this is the unintended consequence. Though gender equality is a major accomplishment in modern society, it can have negative implications for fathers who are despondent and children who are afraid. This is for a few people.

There are fathers that can take care of the children very well. They can do each and everything that a mother does. I believe that everyone should learn how to take care of children and stay at home. This inspires future generations.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

Today's male population wants to stay at home and care for their children whilst moms are more likely to go out and do their jobs. As a result, we're forced to dig deeper to discover what's causing all of this confusion.

However, I am a firm believer that this progress has numerous advantages that will benefit society as a whole. To begin with, this is due to the fact that communities are adapting to a new trend. Furthermore, both men and women are seen as the region's most important pillars and are given equal weight in modern civilizations. These are an attempt to set an example by giving women additional privileges. As an example, a new trend has emerged in England, where men are increasingly taking on household responsibilities while women remain the primary breadwinners. As a result, the mother must commute to and from work every day. Males, on the other hand, are responsible for household chores like grooming children. Men spend their most critical hours with their children in order to minimize economic loss. And, to also minimize the concerns associated with the termination of their employment. Women take maternity leave during their pregnancies, which results in a 10- to 12-month absence from the workforce. As a result, men took time off from their jobs to allow women to continue working, increasing their job security. When a company hires a female candidate, for example, they may include a clause in the contract that allows them to exempt them from leave for up to a year. They could lose their position if they don't. As a result, men help out around the house while women keep on working. In the end, I think it is a wonderful trend because it has numerous advantages, such as women being able to have their trials back after a lengthy absence. In addition, if girls are accorded the same prominence as men, they will feel more a part of society.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

A new trend has emerged in which fathers are taking on the role of primary caregiver for their children. While this has traditionally been the case in many countries, it is now becoming more common.

Given that a woman earns the majority of the family's income, it is obvious that she should continue working and that her husband should care for the children. It's a wise choice because it allows a family to make more money, allowing them to raise more children in the future. One of the most compelling arguments in favour of males staying at home is that anyone may now apply for a well-paying job. Increasingly senior roles are being held by women, and if a wife's earnings are higher than a husband's, males are more likely to stay at home and raise children. For example, in Ukraine, the number of women who bring the beacon home is increasing each year. And fathers are increasingly frequently spotted at playgrounds around the nation. This is a great change because it prevents families from reducing their income and reduces the likelihood of them living from one paycheck to the next. In a society where individuals are guided by tradition and only women are permitted to care for children. It would be difficult to feed everyone in the family while maintaining a reasonable quality of life. There are many guys in Ukraine who can't support their families if they merely work and bring in a small amount of money each month. Since their spouses earn more money, the total quality of life will be worsened if they can't stay at home instead. As a result, despite cultural norms, there are more scenarios in which men can support their spouses and children by staying at home and raising their children. In certain families, it is only possible to have a prosperous division of labor.
