Topic: The world has seen an enormous increase in flights for leisure, business and commercial purposes around the world over recent years. What do you think are the main advantages and disadvantages of such flights? Do you think flights should be taxed more?

Model Answer 1

The aviation industry has made it easier for people to travel for leisure, business or even for commercial purposes with the increase in the number of flights in recent years. However, with advantages, the increase in flights also has its own disadvantages which the essay would highlight.

One of the greatest advantages that can be considered to have been gained from an increase in flights can be found with corporate maneuvers that have become a cakewalk for business organizations to operate efficiently. While in the past, distance and time were barriers for seamless operations, an increase in flights has resulted in the growth of the business environment. Moreover, considering the tourism industry, an increase in flights has resulted in a higher economic contribution of the industry as traveling in leisure time has become more popular than ever. However, the increase in flights has its own disadvantages like the air pollution increasing at a larger scale emitting incombustible gasses like Carbon Monoxide.

However, levying heavy taxes on flights cannot be considered a plausible solution to reduce the issue of air pollution and would rather result in declining developmental prospects for the industry. The action that needs to be taken is in terms of considering environmentally friendly fuels which can be considered to have a largely lesser impact on the environment.

Hence, I can conclude that despite the advantages and disadvantages that the flights have, it is important to reduce the environmental disadvantage of flights by considering sustainable ways which would have an impact rather than levying taxes.

Model Answer 2

Traveling has become highly popular in the current world for purposes related to leisure, business and even commercial due to which flights have increased in the aviation industry. While the advantages of increasing flights are high, disadvantages are also a part of the concern for the industry, both of which I shall discuss in the essay.

As part of the corporate operations, an increase in the number of flights has resulted in highly efficient ways of traveling to monitor and review the operations in different geographical regions. Accordingly, corporate maneuvers have become easier for businesses hence, experiencing higher growth.

Furthermore, the contribution of the aviation industry's increasing number of flights can also be identified in relevance to the tourism industry which has resulted in higher cultural awareness and interaction. However, the negative impact of increasing flights cannot be neglected. The effect on the environment due to the burning of the fuels is high which is increasing the carbon footprint by releasing Carbon Monoxide gasses into the atmosphere.

Considering the negative impact on the environment, however, I do not believe that imposition of hefty taxes would work effectively. What is important for the industry to consider are actions that are sustainable thereby invoking sustainable fuels as part of their operations. Higher taxation would simply bring down the demand for air traveling in the industry with people opting for lower costs of travel.

Hence, I might conclude that the advantages of an increase in flights are higher compared to the disadvantages which can be reduced through effective actions and planning rather than taxation.

Model Answer 3

The current world is experiencing an increase in the number of flights serving the needs of people in leisure travel, business travel and commercial purposes. The demand for flights is higher because of its lesser time consumption and higher convenience. However, the disadvantages of the increase in flights are also important to consider. The essay would portray an evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of the increase in flights and the need for heavy taxation against them.

The increase in the number of flights has enabled in the current world globalization to travel conveniently and conduct business operations hassle-free. Corporations have been able to perform effectively by traveling in flights thereby being able to enhance efficiency in business operations. Moreover, the people have been able to travel as part of their leisure activities contributing to the tourism industry. An increase in flights has effectively helped in enhancing the acculturation of people through traveling. However, the impact of the flights on the environment has been found to be high with carbon footprint increasing as a result of increases in flights.

It has been considered that levying heavy taxes would help in reducing the negative impacts which I strongly do not believe is possible because lack of actions would not decrease the carbon footprint of the flights. It is important for the flights to be built in ways so that sustainable ways of traveling are enabled and higher profits are incurred.

Thus, I can conclude that the advantages of increase in flights outweigh that of the disadvantages and stronger implementation of sustainable action plans would eradicate the negative issues.
