Pre- course information Teaching Tutor Resources (Print) Other Resources

Law 72% 62% 76% 70% 80%
Commerce 95% 95% 93% 86% 81%

Model Answer 1

The table above shows the percentage of the first year students who gave a “very good” rating to the resources for the 3 courses- Economics, Law, Commerce provided by a college.

It is observed that for teaching resources, the highest and the same percentage is given by the economics and commerce students. However, only about 62% of law students were satisfied with this resource. When it comes to the pre- course information satisfaction, the highest “very good” rating is given by the commerce students, about 95% and the lowest is given by the economics students, about 59%. The figure by the law students was little more than 70%, hence it was satisfactory for them too. When we compare teaching and tutor resources, it can be seen that the percentage of rating is approximately equal. For teaching resources, the percentage by economics students is 95% and the same percentage is 90% for the tutor resources. Now coming to other resources, the percentage of rating is given approximately the same by the Law and Commerce students.

We can conclude that the rating to the resources for the 3 different courses varies differently among all the students.

Model Answer 2

The above table presents the information about the percentage of the first year students who rated “very good” to some of the resources provided by the college.

It is noticed that the commerce students gave the good and the highest rating among all the students to the resources. The table shows that the commerce students rated almost equal to the pre- course information, teaching and tutor resources. They also gave good and almost the same rating to the print resources (86%) and the other resources (81%). Meanwhile, we can also observe that the economics and the commerce students gave the same ratings to the teaching resources. About 70% of law students gave a good rating to the tutor, print resources and the pre- course information resources. Only 60% of economics students gave the rating to the pre- course information but this percentage is higher in case of law and commerce students that is equal to more than 80%.

Model Answer 3

The table represents the percentage of the students who have given rating to the different resources provided to the 3 different courses. We will look at each of the resource ratings one by one.

Starting with the pre- course information satisfaction, commerce students (95%) are most satisfied with this resource and the economics students are least satisfied with only 59%. Law students also gave a good response while rating for this resource. Coming to the teaching, tutor and print resources, the good response is shown by the commerce and law students, approximately above 80% students. Turning to other resources, more than 80% of the law and commerce students gave the “very good” rating to this resource whereas only 60% of the students were satisfied with other resources.

Overall, we can say that the commerce students were most satisfied with all the above given resources. The least satisfied student was found in the economics course with the pre- course information resource.
