The presented column graph depicts the proportion of people of various ages who visited a particular country between 1978 and 2008.

Overall, it is evident that the proportion of youthful people who visited the movies was greater. However, elderly individuals gave less preference to thretre.

In 1978, less than one-fifth of the population was aged 50 or older, whereas nearly 90 percent of youthful people visited the movies that same year. In the first year, sixty percent and ninety percent of the population, respectively, were middle-aged and between the ages of 24 and 35. In the decade that followed, the proportion of elderly decreased dramatically until it reached 50 percent, but then began to gradually rise until it reached 50 percent in 2008.

In the case of those aged 35 to 49, after a rapid decline since 1988, the proportion of persons rose slightly last year and reached the same proportion as the elderly, which is two-thirds. While the 25-to-34-year-old age group followed a similar trend, the proportion of cinema-goers reached three-fifths by 1988 and remained stable until the last decade. After 1978, there was a striking decline in the preference of young people, which was followed by fluctuations and peaked at approximately 85% in 2008.

Next, it declined significantly to approximately 75% in 1988, and then increased marginally over the subsequent decade. Prior to a slight decline in 2003, it was stable for five years. In 2008, the rate dropped to just under 82%. Similarly, the percentage of cinemagoers between the ages of 25 and 34 decreased significantly from 80% to 60% between 1978 and 1988, followed by a moderate increase in 1998. After that, it remained stable until 2008, when it dropped to 65%. Similarly, the percentage of individuals between the ages of 35 and 49 reached a low point of 40% in 1988 before a significant increase. A decade later, it peaked at approximately 62% and remained constant until 2003, when it began to decline. In contrast to the other three age categories, however, the preference of the elderly for cinematic file viewing increased after 2003. In 2008, the percentage raised gradually to 50%.
