The Income Spent on Food and Other Goods in 3 European Countries IELTS Writing Task 1 is an academic task. The IELTS academic writing task 1 deals with info-graphic questions. The given chart explicitly explains the estimate of income spent on the food products and other goods in majorly three European countries. This bar chart has helped to compare the ratio of money spent on food products and other goods from the year 1998 to 2008. It has provided the changing ratio of money spent on food products of three different countries namely, France, Germany and England. This chart can help us to garner the basic information regarding the sudden increase in the percentage of money spent on food and other products. This chart figure has compelled us to contemplate the sudden changes which we witness while purchasing the food and other products.

According to this chart, there is an immense variation in the money spent on food products. This significant change in the percentage over a decade suggests an exponential hype in the purchasing and nourishing ability of the people of France, Germany and England.

By Looking at the stats we can observe that in France people in the year 1998 spent only 15% of their income on food products and 10% on the other products of daily use. After a lap of 10 years, we find that the percentage has increased more than twice the percentage that it spent ten years before. According to the chart in the year 2,00,8, we can see that people spend 40% of their income on buying food and other products. Such sort of astonishing figures are even witnessed in Germany and England. In Germany, there is a difference of 5% in a decade. In the year 1998 people spent 25% of their income on purchasing food products and other commodities whereas, in 2008 the percent climbed up to 30% of what was being spent on food and other products.

Even in England, we can witness that in the year 1998 the consumers spent 10% on food products and saw a rise of 15% in the year 2008. But there is a sudden increase in the purchase of other commodities. The percent surged from 8% in the year 1998 to 35% in the year 2008.

With the fast development in technology and the only of many countries, we may encounter certain changes in a different arena. As we take the example of the income spent on food products and other commodities in different European countries. The bar chart explicitly presents the data of these sudden changes. The three countries mentioned in this chart are France, Germany and England. These countries have evolved over a period of time. The stats from 1998-2008 suggests the increase in purchasing and nourishing ability of the people of these three countries. There could be many other reasons to ponder upon for this exponential rise. It is very important to look at the stats of the income spent on food and other commodities.

Firstly, taking a look at the stats of France, in 1998 the income spent on food and other commodities were 15% and 10% respectively, but we witnessed a sudden increase to 40% in 2008. Simultaneously, in Germany the income spent on food and other commodities were 25% but in 2008, after a decade we found the percentage rose to 30%. Lastly, seeing the stats of per cent, there is a slight increase in food products from 10% to 15% but there is a sudden increase in the income spent on other commodities. The percent exponentially increased from 8% to 35%. Thus, we can see that in all the three European countries there was an exponential increase in the income spent on food and other commodities.

In European countries, the people have great purchasing and nourishing ability for themselves and their family. Provided the bar chart which informs about the increased income spent on buying food and other commodities. There could be a plethora of reasons for this boost. As we all know that the three countries mentioned in the chart namely, France, Germany and England are considered to be developing countries. These countries have evolved and developed with time, thus, it is normal to witness such hype in percent of income spending on food products and other commodities. Before drawing any opinion for such hype it is important to take a glance at the statistics of these three.

To begin with, in France we find an astonishing increase in the percentage. According to the chart in 1998 people spend only 15% and 10% of their income on buying food products and other commodities, but this estimate rose toooo 40% in the year 2008. We witness a slight increase in the case of Germany. Income spent on buying food and other commodiwewewere in 1998 but it increased by 5% i.e. to 30% in 2008. Talking about England there is a slight change in the percent of buying food products. The percent rose from 10% to 15%, but there is an astonishing increase in income spent on other commodities. The percent increased from 8% to 35%. Thus, we find that the percent of the income spent on food and other commodities witnessed an exponential rise in a decade.
