Between 1992 and 2016, the line graph compared the population growth of three Australian cities (Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane).

Overall, the population of these cities has increased over the specified time period. Despite this, all of the cities encountered unforeseen population fluctuations.

Sydney had a slightly larger population than the other two cities in 1992, but they all had roughly 20,000 residents. Nine years later, Sydney's population surpassed 60,000 for the first time, while Melbourne and Brisbane had approximately 40,000 residents each. In 2004, Melbourne and Brisbane's populations continued to increase, whereas Sydney's population decreased by approximately 20,000 residents.

Since 1995, Melbourne's population has increased consistently, reaching nearly 100,000 people between 2007 and 2010, before plummeting by approximately 20,000 over the next two years. Sydney and Brisbane experienced comparable population declines between 2010 and 2013, falling to just under 60,000 and approximately 40,000 residents, respectively.

The line graph shows how three separate cities' civilizations changed between 1992 and 2016.

Overall, it is evident that there was an increase in the number of city dwellers to the three cities provided, with Melbourne's population growing most dramatically from 2007 onwards to become the most congested city.

Brishane's population began at 21,000, experienced a sharp increase to 61,00 in 2010, and then stabilized at 45 at the end of the era. Melbourne's population began at a lesser level than Brishane's, but it quickly increased and peaked in 2016 at 110 thousand.

Sydney had 30 thousand residents in 1992, which increased significantly to 83 thousand in 2007, and peaked at 110 thousand nine years later. At the end of the term, Melbourne and Sydney typically grow noticeably.

Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane's population changes between 1992 and 2017 are depicted in this line graph.

Even though all cities experienced net annual population gain by 2011, the most notable growth occurred between 2007 and 2010. Despite this general pattern, there were a variety of growth spikes and troughs, with all cities experiencing slower development in 2011.

Melbourne's growth surged the most overall, even though it began with the slowest yearly growth; it went from adding only around 23k inhabitants in 1992 to adding about 110,000 in 2017. Brisbane started off with growth that was almost as low as Melbourne's, but it experienced a lower net gain, going from growth of just over 23k in 1992 to a gain of only 50,000 in 2017. Sydney had the fastest growth rate at first, at 30,000 each year, but by the conclusion of the era, it had dropped to 105,000, just behind Melbourne.
