The school curriculum is designed by professional academicians and experts who have thorough knowledge about what students might study with the changing passage of time. Some people argue that the curriculum should change with time and that students should be able to cope with the changing curriculum. This is because outdated information and knowledge should be eliminated so that useful learning is endured within schools and I agree with this view.

It is essential that students while learning in school are able to acquire skills and knowledge. Essentially, changing of the curriculum is necessary so that with time students are able to adjust with the changes and are able to develop new and updated skills that might be beneficial for them. For instance, in science, too many lessons about incandescent lamps or old computers that occupied large rooms are not necessary but are still found in textbooks. Similarly, students do not need to learn old programming languages which are no longer used. Hence, in my opinion, it would be helpful if the best curriculum created by the expert bodies are not based on a static body but rather focuses on students’ ability to cope with change. However, older lessons can be beneficial and must be taught focusing on their relevance to the present times. It is essential that students are able to focus on how they must be able cope with the changing times and syllabus. It is possible for the teachers to enhance students' effectiveness that is not static but evolving with changing times.

Thus, older lessons and curriculum should only be included in schools which find relevance with the current periods of time and those which do not should be scrapped out of the curriculum.

With changing time and technology, it becomes important that academic curriculum also experiences change. It should be able to build new competencies among the students. The change in curriculum is argued by people to encourage students to cope with change as well. This is possible when students are made to understand that they need to develop new skills and competencies. This would make them more efficient in the modern professional world. One of the biggest reasons can be considered that outdated information does not produce productive results and has no meaning in academics. Accordingly, students need to imbibe these changes and effectively undertake coping methods to learn new things in life.

One of the primary purposes of studying in an educational institution is to acquire knowledge and improve their learning abilities. Students should be able to understand the need to acknowledge these changes would help in their own development. It would enable them to develop new skills which would be in demand in the future professional market allowing them to have advantage in life. It becomes essential however, to keep few of the older curriculum in check. For instance, the history of a country, which does not change, however political updates need to be included. Geography is an important part of the curriculum which helps students in learning of the new boundaries and existing territories of the country. The reason for not having an older curriculum is for their lack of use in practical life. For instance, students do not need to learn old programming languages which are no longer in use. Hence, it would be helpful if the best curriculum created for students isn’t static bodies but rather focuses on students’ ability to cope with change.

Changing business requirements as well as with greater need to have new experts and skills within organisations. It has become important that academic curriculum in schools and colleges also undertake changes. Apparently, I agree that the best curriculum is not based on the static body of knowledge but on the ability of students to cope with change. Certainly, changes are essential in the academic field enabling the students to be able to understand the requirements in the market.

The new academic curriculum needs to be more focused on practical knowledge than theoretical ones. This is because sudden changes in the business field are common and no theoretical knowledge is absolutely effective unless the individual has practical experience. Changes are bound to happen in the dynamic business environment. What is important is that students are able to cope with these changes effectively. Students should be able to learn how to adapt to changes and effectively focus on change practices and skills. This would enhance their effectiveness in dealing with the change issues. Most importantly, it becomes extremely necessary that students are able to learn to deal with a challenging environment. With changes in curriculum focusing on what is relevant in the current world, students should be able to utilise their theoretical knowledge in a practice. They need to make modifications wherever necessary and ensure that they overcome the challenges successfully. Certainly it is essential that students develop practical knowledge and capabilities because only bookish language does not make a smart person. With the help of a new curriculum which enhances students’ competencies, effective results can be formulated. However, older lessons relevant to the present world are necessary to be included to take lessons from the past. However, with proper modification actions based on present requirements for the students could be useful.
