To begin with in January, which was the month approximately $500 was allocated towards food expenses. Although there was an increase in food costs the month they subsequently decreased and settled at just over $300 per month which happened to be the lowest among all categories.

While the expenditure on gas experienced a decline there was a trend observed in food expenses. Initially gas cost around $350 per month. However it decreased in the month before rising and reaching nearly $600 by April.

At the start of this timeframe clothing represented the category with a cost slightly exceeding $200. However throughout this period significant fluctuations occurred. In February clothing expenses amounted to $600—almost equivalent to that of food costs. Subsequently there was a decrease in March; however by the month of this analysis period it rose again to just, under $700.

The amount spent on average during the four month period decreased slightly except, for March, when it experienced an increase.

After looking at the chart it makes it clear that in April, families in the US spent the most on clothing, while in January, clothing was the least popular item among people.

If looked closely, the average line of spending stayed the same for the first two months, at around $370, and then a slight upward trend occurred. Though, in March, it went up by more than $400. So, this ratio slowly went down until it was below $300 in the last month. In February, families in the US spent about $580 more on food than they did in January. In January, families spent about $500 on food. But in March, people weren't interested in the food area, and spending dropped to almost $400. More than that, this usage dropped to $300 in April.

In the beginning of the year, families in the US spent about $200 on closing, but by February, that number had shot up to almost $600. After that, in March, a single person only spent 340 dollars on clothing. In April, more than $600 was spent on clothing things, which is an interesting fact. So,we could observe that gas was the main source of money for the family in the United States. At first, they spent almost $370 on gas, but by the end, they only spent about $200. After a month, this amount went up, and $580 was spent on gas.

First, $500 was set aside for meals in January. Food prices increased the month but then dropped to slightly over $300, the lowest of all categories.

Food prices increased but gas prices decreased. Gas cost $350 per month initially. However, it dropped throughout the month before rebounding to about $600 by April.

Clothing cost little over $200 at the start of this timeframe. There were major changes during this time. February clothing prices were $600, almost as much as food. After a drop in March, it rose again to just under $700 by the end of the analysis period.

In March, spending increased, although overall spending declined during the four months.
