Topic: Discuss your opinion on how modernism can affect our health. What can the government do to overcome such situations?

Model Answer 1

People are becoming more concerned about how modernism will affect their physical and emotional health. Especially as they become more aware of how important health is. In this essay, I'd like to examine the negative effects of modernism on our health and offer some solutions.

It is clear that modernization has many negative effects, particularly on our health. First off, a shift in eating habits is one of the drawbacks of modernity. Nowadays, the majority of consumers favour processed and fast food over home-cooked and organic food, which is less nutrient-dense and rich in fat and salt. People have gained weight as a result, which is a risk factor for heart disease, hypertension, and high cholesterol.

Modernism also encourages people to engage in less physical activity. For instance, the majority of individuals prefer driving over walking, escalators over stairs, and indoor activities over outside ones. There is no denying that these contemporary behaviours and lifestyles play a factor in our poor health. Not to mention, modernism's byproducts of consumerism and materialism. It creates people workaholics and gives them unneeded physical and emotional stress. So many people have experienced nervous breakdowns.

There are numerous ways to counteract modernism's detrimental impact. The best method to accomplish this is for the government to educate the public on healthy lifestyle choices through the media. Fast food should not be advertised. And consumers should get unambiguous warnings on the label regarding the risks associated with eating it. In addition, the government should promote walking as a healthier and more environmentally friendly alternative. Governments can also build walking and jogging paths. Finally, in order to prevent overwork, the government should enact laws and regulations that fix working hours. People would have more time to rest and exercise as a result.

To sum up, modernism can be extremely detrimental to one's health, and both governments and citizens are responsible for limiting these impacts.

Model Answer 2

Without a shadow of a doubt, modernization has a negative impact on people's health due to excessive work hours and a greater reliance on fast food. To address this issue, the government should take some action. In this essay, I'll cover all sides, including how modernism affects the general public's well-being and potential solutions.

People now put in long hours to fulfil goals and keep their jobs, which has an impact on people's health. More people today are neglecting their health and becoming workaholics. Additionally, because of their busy schedules, the average worker has little time to prepare nutritious meals at home. So they opt for processed foods and fast food instead, which are inexpensively and widely accessible. These foods are harmful because they are heavy in fat and include preservatives. People who work long hours and have busy schedules consequently eat what they have, which has the opposite effect on their health.

Governments must take severe action to address this health issue because having a healthy population contributes to the expansion of the national economy. High authorities should first determine the hours of operation and then enforce this norm throughout every organisation and office. It provides workers with physical and mental rest, which raises the general level of well-being in society. Second, the government needs to impose higher taxes on fast food and processed foods. Fast food will then become pricey and cause people to hesitate before buying it. Last but not least, the media should work with the government to promote healthy living by using advertisements.

In conclusion, this essay covered how modernism affects health in various ways. Furthermore, the government must make a judgement in order to reduce its influence. In addition, in order to maintain good health, individuals must be careful about the foods they eat and begin to balance out their routines.

The time when people engaged in strenuous labour in the fields, lengthy footpath treks, and other physical occupations is long past. Modernism has drawn everything and everyone into its fold, and this has both beneficial and harmful consequences for people in today's world. In this essay, I'll analyse the benefits and drawbacks of modernism from my personal perspective. And also offer suggestions about what the government should do to put an end to this nightmare.

Positively, thanks to new inventions, the new fast era is making our lives incredibly swift, simple, and comfortable. For instance, we are accustomed to having phones, vehicles, and many other home goods that enable a comfortable existence. However, these items are negatively impacting our lives more and more. For instance, a large portion of our society today is stupid, sluggish, and afflicted with numerous fatal illnesses. We are making negative progress because we are living in such a horrible way.

With the assistance of the locals and their community, a government can put forth a number of practical ways to end this misery. To demonstrate this, the country's government may pass legislation or start a campaign banning smartphones and motorbikes from secondary schools. And encouraging students to spend more time engaging in physical activity rather than using their phones or riding around on bikes.

In addition, the government should build additional playgrounds and physical barriers to employment in place of online content. Especially those that demotivate students, make them couch potatoes and damage their eyes and back.

Modernism has undoubtedly changed our way of life for the better and faster, yet we cannot ignore its negative effects. In order to safeguard both the current generation as well as our future, the public must secure such measures against its adverse consequences. And offer worthwhile chances for our loving society.
