They engage themselves by doing things that have nothing to do with quality education. I wholeheartedly concur that television cannot take the place of a book as a teaching tool. This is because it is both less educational and more seductive.

For starters, television cannot replace books as a learning medium since children frequently misuse television when their parents are absent. For instance, kids find educational shows less appealing than the cartoons and other shows they like to watch. Even if there are many appropriate and educational shows, it is common for kids to favour shows that are more entertaining than educational. Another reason television isn't as good as a book is that when children learn through television, their attention is drawn. It is drawn to the audio-visual presentation rather than the learning. In contrast, if kids adhere to books, they concentrate on the books and the lessons they contain. Many parents complain that their children spend too much time watching TV, which is bad for their health. As a result of their addiction to watching TV shows, many kids find it difficult to focus on other crucial tasks like studying or playing outside. The last point is that since television could be a time-wasting instrument, it cannot take the place of a book as a learning tool. However, there is no possibility of time loss if kids spend more time reading books. Television's main goal is to amuse viewers, but books are thought of as the foundation of knowledge and wisdom. A person can easily obtain information on science, technology, and political activities through television today. This is also the most affordable educational medium. The traditional method of instruction, on the other hand, has a lot to offer students in the form of books. From the very beginning, one has a tendency to read books since they are full of moral tales that are relevant to everyone's daily life. Additionally, reading books helps children acquire a habit of deep breathing, which is vital for their overall growth. Reading books is another way to improve attention. Despite the fact that books are an endless supply of knowledge, one should not be concerned about any sort of technical issues. The importance of both books and technology cannot be denied, and as a student of literature, I won't. In contrast to television, books seem to impart moral principles and social skills more effectively. However, television provides me with knowledge about the entire globe, whereas I personally feel a connection to the books.

The final issue is that, because television may be a time waster, it cannot replace a book as a learning tool. Although, if kids spend more time reading books, there is no chance of time being lost. In conclusion, even if television is more entertaining than books, it is not as successful as books as a teaching tool for kids.
