Teenage years are synonymous with responsibility and independence, and whether teenagers should follow the standard ways of past generations is a controversial topic. Some conservative people in society believe that teenagers should follow the advice of older people, but teenagers may not agree. In this essay, I would like to explore both ideas and give my perspective. Most people believe that the knowledge and thoughtfulness of their elderly parents and grandparents can be more trusted. There is a reason why older people are older, and their wisdom, experience, and judgment are beneficial to teenagers. Moreover, they have insights into topics that would not have been considered otherwise. For example, many home remedies that we commonly use today were invented by our ancestors, as were various skin care and cold remedies. On the other hand, some believe that while young people should respect their elders, their opinions are outdated, as their information and wisdom no longer applies in today's age of science and technology.

Furthermore, many older people were against equality and homosexuality and believed in patriarchy, which no longer applies in the modern world. Considering this, it can be argued that in some ways it is essential to question old ways of life and beliefs. In other words, young people should consult their elders while taking various decisions because they have a different outlook on life and this can make life easier for everyone. However, there are some decisions that teenagers should take independently without relying completely on their elders.

Most people believe that adults should follow the example of older people. Others think that it is common for teenagers to struggle with advice from older people. In this essay, I will discuss both points of view and draw some conclusions. On the one hand, some people often argue that older people give advice on what to do and young people should follow this advice. The first argument in support of their point of view is that older people have more life experience and can predict various events in advance. Another reason for their claim is that they know many things that angels do not know in advance.

That is why they have lived longer and seen more than adults. On the other hand, some people think that it is difficult for the younger generation to put into practice what the older generation says, despite the aforementioned refutations. They believe that this is true mainly because the younger generation is not used to doing things that have happened in the past. This can be seen from the following facts:

The idea that there is a difference in the way today's generation thinks compared to older generations seems to cause quite a bit of debate. In this regard, a group of like-minded people is of the opinion that young people should follow the instructions of the elderly. However, there are also those who do not agree with this opinion and believe that it is the nature of young people to go against the ideas of their elders. I completely agree with the first opinion.

 Proponents of the first statement argue that we should obey the elderly, not only because they have more life experience, but also because they can deal with many problems. To be more specific, the previous generation always gives many examples to the new generation so that they do not repeat the same mistakes. Therefore, if the new generation deals in this way, they can survive the bad times. For example, the Indian automobile giant Tata Motors was on the verge of bankruptcy when the new generation started to introduce new concepts. Then, by following the instructions of Tata founder Rana Tata, the company was able to regain its position in the market. Some people believe that because teenagers are immature, they always follow their own rules and challenge the previous generation. To be more specific, teenagers often feel more confident and smarter than others, especially those with gray hair, because of their immaturity and high energy levels. Meanwhile, they forget to listen to their elders. As a result, young people often suffer great losses. They find it difficult to accept such unfavorable circumstances. Advice from prominent elders can help a person in such harsh circumstances regain his confidence and rise up after dusk just like the sun rises at dawn.

 In conclusion, older people have great life experiences and so their remarks can help the new generation to work hard and get through difficult times. Undoubtedly, their new technological advances can contribute to development.
