Technology and Internet has Changed People’s Life IELTS Writing Task 2 consists of three sample answers provided below. The task requires the candidates to provide a tentative and argumentative answer for the question. The sample answers comprises two parts: Introduction and body. The introduction is a brief description about the topic. The body contains argumentative statements and tentative answers to support the test-taker's perspective.

IELTS writing task 2 evaluates candidates based on the knowledge and views they have expressed. The areas that candidates are assessed on are grammar, vocabulary, and style. IELTS writing score is marked based on band scores. The band scores range from 0 to 9. Topic: Some people think that the internet has brought people together while others think that people have become more isolated now. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

There are two sides of any discussion and both have their points to prove. Some people think that the internet has bridged the gap between society. Others think that it has created a virtual world for people. This virtual world has forced individuals to be isolated and away from society.

To begin with, a world wide web area network allows humans to get the world in their grip. This was absolutely impossible a few years ago. Nowadays, there are various online platforms such as Facebook ,Twitter and Whatsapp. People can reach out to family, friends, colleagues by video call or text messages. After the pandemic, this has come into action a hundred times more. People are able to meet virtually, discuss business plans, meetings and formulate actions online. The Internet has definitely made communication a lot easier.

On the other hand, the internet has led humanity towards isolation. People sit in front of their laptops, TV, smartphones for the whole day. There is no time for interaction with the physical world. This isolation sometimes might lead to depression. Spending time alone might also lead to degenerating healthy relationships.

I believe the Internet as a technical invention has proven a boon for mankind. It brings individuals close to various methods where we can exchange thoughts. In conclusion, both the perspectives are valid in their own space but I believe cyberspace has more advantages to mankind which helps to maintain connections, no matter how distant the nations are from each other.

The Internet has blended into human life in such a way that it is not possible to live without it. Especially after the Covid 19 pandemic, everything went online. It is needless to say that the people who don't know how to access the internet, have faced multiple issues. We can definitely say that the internet is a boon for mankind. It has brought people together in times of dire collapse. The impact of the internet has left its footprints in our lives. During the pandemic, when everything was closed, only due to the internet, students were able to meet their friends, study online, meet the teachers, take tests etc. This has helped students to keep in touch with their friends.It has brought the friends together. Offices provided work from home option and colleagues were able to connect with each other, have meetings, birthday celebrations over the net.

This brought them closer together. It made life social when there was no hope to go outside and meet people. People ordered foods, groceries etc online which were delivered to their doorsteps. These all happened due to the presence of the internet. I have seen people broadcast their marriage over a channel. The links were shared via whats app and everyone could watch the ceremony. The Internet has helped people to get closer. I agree to the fact that making yourself cornered at home and spending the whole day over the internet might make someone feel lonely. However, that is under our control. We need to embrace the good that the Internet provides us. We can gain knowledge from the internet, meet people and talk to them, and see doctors over the internet. The Internet has made us more social and open compared to what we were 20 years ago.

The Internet has taken the world by storm. It is the world wide web which is considered the future. It has found its place in every household, every mobile phone and all other gadgets possible. The IOT or Internet of things is taking over the human world at a steady pace. The applications of the internet are already common and are being used in healthcare, transportation, public surveillance, and online retail. Keeping all these applications in mind, the Internet is highly relevant in smart city development too. In our homes, we have music systems run on the internet. One more example is Amazon Alexa. It has the range from the basic function of playing music to monitoring security through doorbell, camera sensing, answering the phone, accessing the internet via voice command, and other functionalities. All of these devices and functions run on the Internet. If a person has all these facilities available, they do not need any other humans in their life. This might lead to frustration of not seeing anyone, not visiting places, not meeting new people. Some people have also become lonely and depression creeped into their life due to overuse of the internet.We can get everything over the internet, except the human touch or the feel of being with another person. This is a huge backdrop. Though I think that the Internet is making our lives better, it is also mandatory to socialize with other people.
