Many people today believe that the best way to protect the environment is to impose heavy taxes on many industries. In my opinion, although it works in some cases, taxes are not as effective as more aggressive reforms. The argument in favor of the taxing industry is that it would discourage the worst corporate behavior. This has been demonstrated in the European Union where companies are taxed at higher rates, often based on their relative carbon emissions.
As a result, 4,444 businesses are encouraged to apply cleaner energy use measures.
Greener businesses can therefore benefit from both the benefits of lower taxes and the public push associated with environmentally friendly initiatives. The downside to this approach is that many multinational companies can easily move their production facilities and waste to neighboring countries. Taxation is a fundamental response that assumes that businesses are inherently unwilling to protect the planet.

Firstly, it is worth understanding that most of the causes behind different types of pollution in the world are due to harmful emissions from industries.
To illustrate this point, many industrial enterprises not only ignore people's health, but also unconditionally release toxic air into the atmosphere, such as soot particles and dangerous chemicals, because you don't have to pay high taxes. In contrast, some industries related to food production and textiles will be restricted.
In other words, due to high taxes, they believe it is difficult for them to make a basic profit. A simple solution is for city and national governments to encourage people to be aware of the negative sides of plastic waste and smoking. A very important point is that some countries encourage individuals to launch beneficial campaigns, such as the green movement and limiting carbon emissions, largely devoted to the trend of reducing pollution. Second, another measure is to encourage people to use public transportation instead of using personal cars.
