Topic: The table below shows the percentage of the population who rode the bicycles in one town by the age group in 2012.

The table given above shows the percentage of population in different age groups who wrote the bicycles in one town in the year 2012. It is observed that when the age increases from 0 years to 59 years, the percentage of both male and female who rode the bicycles decreases. But when the age becomes 60+, this percentage shows the sudden increase.

In the age group of 0-9, the percentage of females who rode bicycles is 52.5 and that of males is 51.2. When the age increases up to 19 years, this percentage becomes 43.6 for females and 25.1 for males. The percentage of females and males who rode bicycles under the age group of 20-39 years shows the decrease and becomes 18.2 and 10.8 respectively. When the age increases, the percentage decreases in both the cases and becomes 13.7 and 9.3 respectively. This will happen till the age of 59 years. Now, when the population reaches the age of 60 or above, this percentage suddenly increases and becomes 19.8 in case of females and 14.6 in case of males.

The data given above displays the percentage of male and female under the different age groups who rode the bicycles in one town. It is studied that initially this percentage decreases in both the cases till the age of 59 years and later on, it suddenly increases when people reach the age of 60 years or above. It is also noticed that the percentage of females who rode bicycles is more than the percentage of males.

The youngest age group i.e., 0-9 years prefers to ride more bicycles as compared to the people of higher age group. As per the given data, the percentage of females who rode bicycles is more than that of females i.e., 52.5% and 51.2% respectively. This percentage decreases till the people reach the age of 59 years but the percentage of females who rode bicycles is more than the percentage of males. The percentage of females and males under the age group of 10-19 years is 43.6% and 25.1%, 20-39 years is 18.2% and 10.8%, 40-59 years is 13.7% and 9.3%, respectively. When the age reaches 60 years or above, this percentage shows a sudden increase and becomes 19.8% for females & 14.6% for males.

The percentage of females who rode bicycles in this age group is 52.5% and that of males is 51.2%. When they grow up to the age of 60, the percentage of the population who ride bicycles is seen to be decreasing. At the age of 10-19, the percentage of females who rode bicycles is more as compared to males i.e., 43.6% and 25.1% respectively.

Similarly, in the age group of 20-39, the percentage for females and males were 18.2% and 10.8% respectively and in the age group 40-59, the percentage was 13.7% and 9.3% respectively. But when age becomes 60 or above, this percentage shows sudden decrease. It becomes 19.8% in case of females and 14.6% in case of males.

Therefore, the percentage of females who rode bicycles decreased from 52.5% to 19.8% and that of males decreased from 51.2% to 14.6%.
