Suggesting Renovation for a Rented Apartment IELTS General Writing Task 1 is a letter-writing topic. Candidates are required to address the letter in a formal tone. Dear Mr. Binani

My name is Vamika, and I’m residing in flat no. 305 in the Anupama Complex, located in the Mahendra Colony. The shifting procedures were accomplished yesterday and I have settled well. This letter is to express my gratitude and further help you with a small suggestion. The house is very beautiful and is located at a very safe and accessible location. The garden near the house is the best part of shifting to this location as I will be able to spend quality time with myself here.
I must confess that the house is in a great condition and despite being vacant for years, you have maintained the interiors so well. However, I would like to suggest that you consider painting the walls of the house. The walls look a bit old and dilapidated and the paint and plaster is peeling off the wall.
It would be great if you could consider my suggestion and freshly paint your house. It will help enhance the look of the apartment.

This letter is to express my gratitude for the apartment that you have provided me on rent. It has been three months since I started residing here and I cannot express how beautiful a flat you have offered me. I have pursued a bachelors in design for flats and houses and I believe there are few aspects that you might consider for renovation. This will enhance the beauty of your apartment and improve durability of the walls.
The first and foremost suggestion that I would like to give is regarding the installation of a heat system on the floor. This is because the winter here is very cold and installing a heat system will be very convenient for you tenants. There is a lack of appropriate ventilation within the toilet and shower room that keeps the bad air intact. If you might consider renovating this will also help you with acquiring reasonable and attractive tenants.

I have been living on rent on the ground floor for the past 1 year. The services that you have helped me with have been great and I express my gratitude for that. However, there are certain parts that are required to be reconstructed in the house.
The ground floor where I live is in a pristine condition. The corners and designing have been accomplished in such a marvelous manner that I can’t decide to relocate somewhere else. There are few alterations that are required to be made. The first is the [positioning of the front foo that diminishes the beauty of the house. You might also reconsider painting the house as the wall is peeling off and bolts of all the doors are required to be repaired. During my office hours, I remain outside, thus for safety purposes, there is a need for repairing the bolts and nuts of the doors.
If you like my suggestion, please consider implementing them as this will enhance the safety and durability of the house.
